    Thanks for saying I'm handsome, Lucy. You should have gone to Specsavers though....:rolleyes:

    I've got the sort of face that does this....deserted.gif so I reckon I'll be grandad.gif before I find anyone....:D

    I read the whole thread....did I miss the pic? Shoot!
    Evening all- thought I'd pop in for a chat before heading to the gym later.
    Maverick (as in Top Gun??) I guess the fact that I'm in here means my tips might not be worth much. Summary of my experience

    1. Paid dating sites better than unpaid and Parship.co.uk best so far
    2. Evening classes good but cost as well! Archery and photography have best range talent so far for both male and female- bricklaying good for meeting blokes!!
    3. Ceroc dancing great for meeting new people and getting fit but once again it costs!!
    Can't think of any other recommendations at the moment!! Anyone tried golf??

    I used to Caddy for one of my ex's.... VERY boring game in my opinion!!! At least it was the way he played it!! He took me to the driving range once, and only once as I was actually better than he was :rotfl:

    Very much your more mature persons sport (if the guys I work with are anything to go by!) Could be good if you already play though.

    So anyone about at the moment?
    Current debt - £16,300 :(
    Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek:

    I don't play yet but thought it looked quite fun. Might see how cost compares to evening classes for autumn!

    Worth having a look, I can't play and imagine lesson would be expensive!! I've always fancied learning to horse ride, but I know that costs :eek:

    Apparently 6 x 1 hour group lessons for £70. Some of the adult education courses are about £45 for 6 x 2 hours so I guess it's the better option. Lots of different courses too!

    My ex's horse kicked me once and then bit me a while later. I don't think it liked competition. Or it just didn't like me. :(

    For confirmation: No, I'm not a 40 year old woman, I'm a 26 year old bloke!

    I had a vest on though so it didn't shatter my rib cage!
