    Evening guys!!

    I made it better late than never i guess!

    I studied English Lit at uni, which is just like a giant book club with theory involved!!!

    Get me drunk enough and I can reel off Tragic Greek Theory until I am blue in the face... can't understand a word sober! :eek:

    My disseration was on 'the representation of femininity in Henry Rider Haggards Imperial Fiction' :o 20,000 words of it :eek:
    Current debt - £16,300 :(

    Mine was "How armed conflict affects UK stock prices"

    Imagine a database as long as a dragon's tail and twice as spikey and you are about there as to what I had to analyse. Only 12,000 words for mine though. :D

    I got off lightly there was one girl on my course who decided The Lord Of The Rings would be a good book to cover!!!

    I've read it 7 times and there is no WAY you can cover it all in 20,000 words!!!

    I'm guessing they effect the stock prices?

    Yep, pretty standard really. Defense and oil companies score big, holiday companies lose.

    Now try stretching that to 12,000 words! :D

    The modelling part was fun: I faked the testing, it had some bias in, but I manipulated the tests so it came out okay and significant! :D


    I LOVE LotR, I would have been in my element discusing the books! I made my ex sit through all three extended DVD's back to back. She loved it really.

    I hated those films! (apart from the last one and I cried at the end, that one was good.)
