I used to live in Hull, i thought it was great! Especially good for a night out, pulled my first fella in a night club up there!
I'm not dissing it, strange or starnge as i wrote, in a good way.

The night out on Saturday rates amongst my favourite ever. :D

    Morning guys.

I've never been to Hull so I'm not going to judge.

Well I bailed out of Salsa class last night and went to bed early instead.... hmm and I moan that I never meet new friends...

    Must try harder!

Suggestions would be great. I've been told by my Mother to join the gym... I am not into exercise and can't really afford it.

    Thanks in advance!! :D

Evening class? Perhaps something good to put on your CV so it's investing in yourself. Avoid the art classes (only 50+ women) and do something like a language, it guarantees the people doing it:
    -can read
-are likely to have some aspirations to better themselves, often have reasonable jobs what's the point of meeting someone if you have to subsidise them
-know other countries exist and are likely to want to travel

and if you don't meet someone, hell you can go on holiday to the country and try for an entire new nation of men....

Mum and I have been watching a beach rescue thing in Hawaii... they look nice over there!

    Only joking.

I have thought about learning a language. I should look and see what they do and my local college. I love learning so that could work.

    Thanks

  • Maybe the evening classes would be a good idea for me too.

I miss the company. Someone to spend some time with.

Sad isn't it. I can cope single, and I like to have my freedom. But it's also good to share it all with someone.

Yeah, you get used to doing "couply" things, and then when you break up you realize you don't quite know what to do with yourself :(

I've joined the gym, but noone seems to talk to anyone else there. Evening classes sound like a good idea, but I'm worried that everyone will be a lot older than me.

I find the same with the gym, people just have ipods on etc or are just busy doing their thing.

As for evening classes, I don't know about those, but when I went to a speed dating night just out of curiosity, I was easily the youngest one their by about 15 years.
