There you were being all kind and sending him naughty pictures.... some men, never happy.

Well I have just had a load of my bunny girl night out pics emailed to me.... but none of them are very naughty.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Hey Luc I wondered where you had gotten off to.
I've not got any suggestions for you (I met my hubby when I was teenager and havent needed to "socialise" since) but I just wanted to say hello and its nice to hear from you.

  • Hi Lucy, just wanted to say I understand how you feel. Just last night I was all upset (again) about not having any friends where I live. I moved to a new town just before Christmas to live with my boyfriend, and I still feel like I don't really know anybody. He keeps saying, 'but you've got me', which is nice, but I don't think he really understands that I need to have friends too. It would just be nice to be able to have people to chat to who are my age. The place where I work is massive, and so not really conducive to making good friends, especially since there seem to be a lot of people older than me (I'm 24). It's not that I have anything against older people, but they're just not interested in the same things, or they have families etc.

I have been thinking of trying to find some kind of club to join, or to volunteer for something maybe. I just don't know what?!
much work to be done - new sig coming soon...

work is difficult as there are loads of people here, but I don't deal with anyone enough to be able to say fancy a drink. Unless it's my department and then there are only 8 of us!

So get out, and become an notorious gossip. And that'll help you find all the single guys too...

I was like you, until about a year ago. I'm twenty five to be and last year was having probs with my boyfriend. I moved down South two years ago and just hadn't made any friends. I'd got settled into the routine of me and my boyfriend and then when we started having problems i realised how lonely i was. I reapplied to an add on gumtree on their friends section and that person is now one of my best friends. I have met four further good friends from that website and am talking to more women who i hope to meet up with soon.

I'd definately recomend gumtree as its opened up a whole new world for me. Also have you checked out the internet to see if their are and friends clubs in your area. I know in Southampton where i am based there are a few women or friendship groups, with down to earth normal women get together and do interesting things.

I do go to the gym and will try to be more open to chatting to people while i am there. I am also going to join www.britmilfit.com/ which lookc like a good laugh.

www.plentyoffish.co.uk dating site it free but seems to be largely populated by weirdos.

I think that in order to avoid the weirdos, you have to join something *not* aimed at dating (maybe a board about bars, or temples, or massage palours, or...or..this place) and just get to know people. Then you'll know whether they're worth dating without any pressure to do so.
