I've said it before, local Am-Dram societies (Amateur Dramatics) love new members. You don't have to want to be on stage there's loads of different parts to putting on a show. In fact if you can wield a needle, operate a spotlight or paint a bit of scenery you'll be very popular!
There's usually a huge range of ages and characters in a society. They're usually crying out for able-bodied men. (I met Popeye at mine
) and some of the girls are just gorgeous (I'm not, he didn't marry me cos I look like a show-girl, I'm more a roly-poly)
And I found the back stage guys really useful for my own domestic DIY too when I was single......0 -
