I'm involved in motorsport (through my ex) as a volunteer and when he and I split up I continued to do the stuff I was doing before and got together with my now hubby. Hobbies are great, it doesn't really matter what it is, just getting out and doing something you enjoy is good fun. Motorsport is good though if you're a girlie as the odds of meeting men are definitely in your favour!

Hi pitlanepiglet, I have just joined the mx5 owners club and off to my first meeting next wednesday, so although I am not into racing, I will be doing some rallies this year, you know the ones where you all follow each other to a destination. I am not a confident driver in speed 70mph my limit. I doubt if I'd ever race on a track. I feel a bit odd if I am into my car as a hobby, but I do cardmaking, I go out dancing, so its not like I am turning into a man just because I know how to change spark plugs etc, just learning how to look after my car thats all. But I love it!:p

Is everyone at home tonight? More stay in nights for me, saving money!:D

I am sad because I really am in the mood to dance the night away which is strange for me! I have no one to go with, my usual wing man is entertaining his ex girlfriend (it's a very long story).

Yes I have not been dancing for ages. Before my friend moved to newcastle I would go dancing with her every friday after work. We never spent much just £15 on drinks, but we always had a good time. I was watching that guy doing michael jackson on britain's got talent and felt myself dancing on the sofa!

I must get out soon. In may i will be visiting my friend in newcastle and going dancing with her!:T

I've just had iTunes on which has got me in the mood
I will probably be going out next weekend but I have a 7 hour tax lesson on Saturday so I dont know if I will be in the mood.

Well I've just had a drunken phone call (yes, already!) from a couple of friends in Birmingham telling me I should come out with them.

I would, but for two reasons

1) I am 120miles from Birmingham
2) It would be the best part of two hours to get there (see point 1).

A bit of notice wouldn't have gone a miss!!! lol
