Meeting new people with little or no money - Is it possible??

I have a fesita which I adore!
I got very upset when someone offered to buy her off me. But I would have thought there might be something similar for them.
I have so many ideas, I'm going to spend ages working through them all.
I loved my fiesta, it was a green K reg, then one day about six years ago it developed a leak in the footwell, so had to get rid, had a punto(awful car), then an nissan, then my brother took me to see this car - its on my avatar piccy, my daughter is doing acrobatics on it. Insurance is £315 for me. Tax is £180 I think. but the cars are very reliable. Mine is an import 'S' Ltd, red leather seats, and red carpet, 13 years old and in good nick.
I thought someone would get jealous and attack it but nothing has ever happened to it. When I'm having a bad day I just put the roof down and go for a drive in it over the hills and I feel better.Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230 -

Oh dear. I shouldn't :rotfl: but I just did.
I've got ten pieces of Ikea in my front room and seventeen pieces altogether in the house. I love the place and would spend thousands in there given the chance ( and the money! ). I try to get down at least once a week if I can.... but I buy a fair bit off Gumtree as it's even cheaper.0 -
Now that sounds like you have an Ikea addiction!!
I've just managed to get a free Nokia Slide out of T-mobile!!! It's amazing what happens when you complain!!! I have been evil customer.
I can't believe you laughed!!! I was a damsel in distress... with the back board from my boot that I forgot to put in before closing it.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

My Cat is rubbish at keeping me warm too but my dog is brilliant at it and since he needs three long walks a day we meet loads of people all the time. Also, doggy people tend to be really friendly.
Have you got a dog you could borrow for walkies etc?

Ooh, ooh, flirting and talking about cars, may I join in, please? I too am in the same situation, recently split up from my boyfriend (god i hate that term!) but lack the funds to be sociable and meet new people. And, I don't thing bars are great places to meet anyone tbh. I have a siecento, btw, but really want an mg convertible - have worked out I can afford one in 2010!0
