    I'm good I am!

I managed to lock my keys in my car while in the Ikea car park in Bristol on Saturday. See that near!

This started as a wallowing 'poor old us single DFWs we're never going to meet anyone special' kind of thread!

What happened? I turned my back for a second and come back to find you all in full-on flirt mode!!! ;)

    I wanna play :A

I've got the same problem with meeting people. A couple of years ago I joined a reading group - there's a huge range of ages from teens to sixties, mainly mid twenties though. I'm in two now and setting up another! I'm also thinking about setting up a writing group too. Maybe if you've got any hobbies like reading you could look for a group or set up your own?
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

    No.

For some reason I am struggling to post them.

I stick them on face book later and copy one across. I've never been stared at as much as that night.... it was very strange!!

Have you seen me with cars!!!!

I think its about meeting new people so I can have a social life. I seem to spend all of my time at home or with my mother!!

An idea for you. I bought a little cheap £2900 maxda mx 5, joined the car club, all last year. Split up with my ex four weeks ago and now I am going on my first car meet next wednesday with 50 other people, mostly couples, but I realised I was missing out on meeting new people. I had an electrical fault with my car yesterday, rang mazda they were rubbish, rang the leader of the north west mx 5 club and he sorted me out for no cost. And he is going to the meet (retired) next week and he said he would introduce me to everyone there with a meal and a drink also.

These cars are lovely to drive, I am 40 and only earning £16,000 so it was a struggle to get one, but now I am glad I did. You get admiring looks from other car owners (at the car that is not me!).

I got mine off a private seller off pistonheads. trust me you will not regret test driving one of these. I thought them impractical but I never used my back seats! Many women own them of all ages.

    I have a fesita which I adore!

I got very upset when someone offered to buy her off me. But I would have thought there might be something similar for them.

I have so many ideas, I'm going to spend ages working through them all.
