I got two chickens for free this week
(dead ones) I got one last week, still in date, but when i went to open it to cook for sunday dinner it was so smelly... went and told the butcher, in a very discreet and non confrontational manner, and they gave me TWO fresh chickens:)
and got given 2 jars of pickle, onions and cabbage.
Also salad out of my garden does that count? Rocket, lettuce, basil and coriander, and bayleaves, and a few tomatoes. And eggs from the hens.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

Am I allowed to ask, how do you all manage to get this much free stuff?
(Apart from stuff you yourself have grown, or foraged for, ie, brambles?)
Am I lacking the right technique? :think:0
