Now all I've got to do is think of ways of disguise them as OH isn't keen and there's only the two of us here. Got a stuffed marrow recipe which is quite nice but we don't eat jam  so may have to make lots of soup or something.
What about marrow rum?
If you want the method let me know :beer:0 -

No, they're not poisonous, they're one of the best fungi for eating. I'm dying to find one and try it out. Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall has lots of info on them in the River Cottage Cookbook
I saw one only the other day, but it had been kicked to pieces by kids:rolleyes:

Nope nto posionus, most types are edible (although none are actually poinonus just a few which aren't very nice!) The big football sized ones are fab stuffed or sliced & fried with garlic butter. They need to be young & fresh or they will taste bitter, as long as they are white on the inside they will be delish:D
Remember where thrre is one there may well be more as the body of fungi lives underground & the mushrooms are just the fruit & most fungi produce more than one fruit, keep an eye open for more!Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
