Redruby - hope you don't have to help with the homework though, else it'll become your punishment as well! Spent 2 hours doing maths homework with dd2 last night, she should have done it during the hols, and this was after I thought I'd got through to her about working hard - her report was less than good, especially about handing in homework! Meeting with school this week, and I have requested that her home school diary is inspected start and finish of the day - she is not happy, muttering darkly about having a traitor as a mother who has put her on report! I don't have many rules, but actually making an effort at school is expected!
Pink - look on the bright side, you can make dd work for you to pay off her debt! Slave for the month!

I've got my new Panny breadmaker :j :j :j :j :j :j :j
Can't wait to try it out this evening (though getting it home from work on the bus might be interesting)
Errr... by the way, does yeast (the sort that comes in little foil sachets in a box) last beyond its sell-by date?I haven't used my old cheapie BM (given to me free by another OSer a couple of years ago when she upgraded to a Panny) for quite a while as the quality of the bread wasn't comparable with yellow-stickered shop-bought (plus I lost the instructions
) Or am I going to need to buy a new packet of yeast when I'm at Asda this evening?
I need to find the instructions for the old one so I can Freecycle itOperation Get in Shape

Hello Everyone
This is my first time of posting on the daily, I read it occassionally if I have time but not often. I'm being very naughty and reading this while at work - sshhh don't tell no-one!
Happy Birthday to Kyle - I would ask if I might be allowed a small crumb of the cake but I'm thinking there won't be much left after everyone else has had a piece. Although I could nurse him bake to health again!!
Hugs to everyone who needs them.
I put the wm on this morning as the sun is shining and forecast is for 16C in Norfolk/Suffolk, but I put it on wrong prog and it hadn't finished b4 I left for work! At least I work close enough to pop home for lunch so can hang it out then. Also need to get something out of freezer for tea as I forgot to this morning. DS1 (14yo) at home today as feeling sorry for himself, he had a brace fitted a couple of months ago and had to go yesterday to be tightened up its very sore today so I've allowed him a day at home studying. He also has a NUT day Thursday, ds2 (10yo) not happy as he has to go to school.
Bye for now

Doctors and dentist went ok yesterday, spent half the day not feeling one side of my mouth - very strange trying to drink a cup of tea and only feeling half the cup - i ended up drinking through a straw!!
Have one LO here at the mo, another arriving in about half an hour so keeping me busy!!!
Walked to school this morning, and will be this afternoon as well as it is a lovely day here. Dont need to go until 3.30 (to drop one LO off) as DS has football after school and doesnt finish until 4, and DD is away at a childs forum she goes to once a month, where local children have a chance to express what they think should happen in our area. She is being dropped home by another mum later, so saves me a journey.
Ok, LO needs his lunch and is about to try and type something himself if i give him the chance!!
Have a lovely day,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

Hello all !
Well so far today I've made a birthday card that took me over an hour...now I don't like it and going to have to do it again.............bed settee still needs to see daylight from the coats and other garbage on top of it,...........still haven't rung hairdressers about appointments to use up voucher OH got me for christmas (having extremely bad hair day today !!!)
OH came downstairs with a pile of his washing, cycle finished an hour ago and its still not been hung out.
Get the feeling today might turn into a .'not done' day if I'm not very careful.
Gave a good day all and hugs ((((((((((((:o ))))))))))))) to those who need themMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

Rzl I am not an expert on yeast, but I would have thought you would have to get some new, wouldn't it loose its raising ability
Enjoy

Hello everyone, first time of posting on here. Today me and LO have been to the toddler group over the road. I have planted two tom plant seedling, which I rescued from B&Q for 10p, we wil see how they go. Gardener is coming this afternoon instead of tomoz, as its nice weather. He is so good, 2.5hrs for £20 every other week. He finds little seedlings and plants them so they getbest sun and all that jazz. No idea what I'm going on about now. Taking Lo to pre-school this afternoon and I will attemp to go swimming, trying to loose some weight. Have 9lbs to loose. The I'm bobbing into boots get some folic acid and ovulation tests, we planning to try for second one in July..... But Shhhhhhh... don't let everyone know. Then pick up LO home for tea. I have no clue as to what we will have.0
