Talk about late...its to-morrow!

Had visitors this afternoon and then my best friend and I had a 'settle the world' 2 hour phone call, so very little done to-day...dinner was potatoes baked in microwave, fish done in GF and broccoli from garden cooked by running a kettle of boiling water through it...lazy doesn't describe it!

Lovely day here but rain this evening...by some stroke of luck managed to get the 3 machine loads of washing off the line minutes before the heavens opened...good for all the plants and seeds sown to-day.

ho hum - so my dbro rang to tell me where we were meeting up for this gig on thursday - after about 10 minutes of chat I realise that he's on his way and that it's tonight!!!!!!! mad rush to get dd(11) to dd(18)'s - she wasn't home so had to meet her at a train station about halfway along the way - pretty much throwing dd and her bag out of the train. The rest of the journey was spent trying to do some mad makeover business on the train involving turning coughridden old lady into rock chick - only 10 minutes late meeting dbro. got to the gig - the lyrics were so miserable I laughed out loud which peed sil off a bit I think - she likes them - I'd never heard of them. I did warm to them 4 vodkas later though. Anyhoo just got in from Night Bus Land
