Been to Aldi and then Asda, with all good intentions to spend about £8 in total and only buy what I needed for the immediate future rather than stocking up the freezer, but got a massive haul of bargains in Asda :j (£9 spent for £35 worth of stuff!) and have blown the budget for the month :o

Also unpacked the breadmaker... the rye blade is missing  Not too fussed as for that price (£60 plus postage) I'd still have bought it if I'd known it was missing, but it wasn't listed as such, so it's annoying. Have emailed the seller to see if there's anything he can do. Otherwise it looks great :j

    Evening all

Just a very quick post before I turn in. Kyle Happy birthday and hope you had a lovely day.

Annie B thinking of you tomorrow and hugs to you and yours.

Little cat cost me £37 at the vet. Has a really nasty bite on either side of his tail. Has now got anti-biotics, looks better already after the vet gave him a pain-killing injection. DS got quite upset at some of the examination, as little cat was spitting, bless him.

MUst go to bed. Sweet dreams all.

(((((hugs))))) Anniebooklover - will be thinking of you and your family tomorrow

    Happy Birthday Kyle

Sat here with a glass of wine, DH is pleased as Chelsea equalised to a 1-1 draw in the final seconds of the game

DD is also off on Thursday due to the strike. I know there are probably some valid reasons for the strike, but it doesn't help parents that work - grrr!

Did a stack of ironing this evening :A Lounge is coming on nicely, all decorated with new light switches, sockets, ceiling light and wooden blinds. Ordering the leather corner sofa tomorrow - £800  TV and stand will be ordered at the end of the month - another  Still we've managed to save for every penny so it feels more worth it IYKWIM

Pen Pen - Sorry you've had a bad day at work - me too! I'm in the horrible position of beingclose to the boss, and had to tell her something that had happened today that didn't go down to well with my colleagues

Bargain Rzl - well done on getting your panny - I am telling you now - you will be AMAZED at the results :T

    Huge (((((hugs))))) all round

Those pages are working ok for me Shez, but the whole forum seems dead slow and stop for me tonight. Probably because the tips email has just gone out.

Isn't that strange, the site is often slow and awful for me, but tonight it's fair zipping along:confused: Just goes to show, there's no rhyme nor reason to it:rotfl:

And the worst part Shez, is I'm on page 3:rotfl: :D:D;)

the only problem I'm having tonight is putting the lid back on the jar of nutella

DH and I finished wallpapering about 15 minutes ago, so I'm now sat here needing achoccy fix with my redbush tea and there was nothing else but nutella and breadsticks. I'm not choosy, it will do nicely ;)

Had BM on twice today, definitely the panny was a good buy at the weekend. Loaf made this afternoon was half gone by 7pm, that would have caused chaos for lunches in the morning. DH is kindly making the lunches as the bread is still too hot for me to cut tonight. I will have to grab a sarnie on the run somewhere tomorrow as I won't have time to make anything before I leave for work.

Pink - winged, I know how you feel about stress and kids, can we ship them off to boot camp? No mobiles, no pc's no games consoles, make them do all the cooking and laundry................................... I could go on :rotfl::rotfl:

(((((big hugs))))) to all of you who are in need of one right now

AnnieB, will be thinking of you tomorrow xx

DD2 is coping well with her new lunchbox regime, after the hidden sarnie fiasco, I hope I don't start finding bits of cooked chicken under the bed

    see you tomorrow
