busy yesterday, had to 'pot up' some seedlings with DS, i havent dared put anything outside yet incase its still to cold, so the strawb plants are starting to flower, the toms smell 'tommy' every time i catch them with the roller blind and the sweetcorn is now about 6inch tall, from the road it must look like a canabis den theres so much greenery on my winsowsill.:rotfl: .

knitted a square last night and have started another (my final 8incher).

done a load in the wm, will hopefully make some hobnobs today, rushing about tonight as tuesday is manic night with too many clubs. so rushing everywhere and struggling to fit tea in for the boys.

I hope everyones day has something nice in it

good morning and special thoughts for the OStylers in need of some. seems so unfair there are so many of you at the moment.

yesterday got a lot more weeding done (still loads to do :( ). put a second coat of oil on my bench and it looks like brand new again. might put a third coat on the arms as they are still a bit bleached compared to the rest. Did more washing, avoided ironing :) OH went to Asda and bought couple of meals to do us till pay day.

today looks very grey almost like rain...might get some gardening done.
need to fill up with petrol. my tank is almost empty but people are going a bit daft with this threat of strike action. Mind you easy for me to say as I would get fuel anyway as being a key worker....or thats what happened last time anyway. did check out the bus times to get to work....and its near impossible to get there on time. makes me laugh that they want us to use public transport....but there isnt any.

Morning, Got up at 5 this morning to make packed lunches and sos, mash and veg for dinner tonight. DH, a builder friend and I dug out 9" of soil yesterday as we are doing a patio for DD2. We dug out almost 4 tons of soil, the patio will be 22sq mtrs. As I was digging I came across 2 plastic bin liners, got DH to investigate and discovered one was a cat and the other a dog
Felt queezy for the rest of the day _pale_
The weather forcast is sunshine so plan to work through till 6 pm as rain is due on thurs.

Kyle Happy Birthday. Enjoy your cake. :D

I really need to spend some time in the garden. The weeds are getting a bit out of hand. The good thing with cooler weather they won't grow so fast. Might tackle it next week when YS leaves.

MrsMix Fingers crossed for good results.
PPen How did you make chappitas? What are they? Byeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Good morning everyone

A very Happy Birthday to kyle. Make sure you get spoiled rotten today.
Smokey lovely to see you posting again. As others have said, you are doing so well to do what you do. Don't beat yourself up about the unimportant stuff that will still be there tomorrow, next week, next month.
(((hugs))) to those who are in need - tattycath, pretz, pen-pin and all those other names that escape me at the moment.

The funeral for my nephew's baby is tomorrow. My nephew's wife is distraught and is struggling to get through each day so I'm not sure how she will get through tomorrow. My nephew intends to carry the coffin, which will be heart-breaking to watch. All we can do as a family is be there for them. Please remember them in your thoughts and prayers.

Sorry my posts have been so miserable over the last few days but the whole family has taken this hard. It is cathartic to be able to post here.

Thanks for all your support. xx

Morning all - I have slept through the night for the first time in weeks - still coughing though. First plans are to phone the drs in the Teeny Tiny Golden Window of Appointment Making Opportunity that our surgery offers - I missed it yesterday and am therefore AWOL from w*rk

Kyle - you know that nice ... er .... cake that Aussie sent you - can i have the leftovers if there are any - have a brilliant birthday.

I was a naughty girl yesterday and have bought some lovely new camping gear for the Solo Trekker About Town. since dd(11) has said that she would rather boil her head than camp again I have upgraded with a lightweight tent and sleeping gear - the plan is for me and my bike to see more of this country when dd is at her Dad's. I have already planned a trip that is very close to home for a trial run.

have a good day - hugs to the sad and poorly ones

Anniebooklover - special hugs for you and yours
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

Morning all, - Sun is shining here at the moment, lets hope it stays with us.

I'm sure DD will be phoning soon to ask if she can bring her and BF's washing round.

Wasnt planning on doing alot today, maybe a potter outside in garden for awhile, or do some more knitting, but we had shopping delivered from Mr T's last night and received 2 crushed apple pies OH informed me of this when i got up, so i guess its a call to CS to see what they will do about it (i personally wouldn't bother they are going to be eaten, but OH says its a matter of principal), Oh has dissappeared off to work.

Oh well i best get moving....

All have a good day and :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: to those in need.
