Had a good night sleep - no security light was left on!
Had an awfull scare last night, a man tried to run me off the road. It was very scary, he was intimidating, felt as if i was in the wrong, he was speeding! I no I wasnt as I just pulled out of 1 junction only to drive 100yrds to turn into another! He was trying to over take me, then pulling back, swerving all over the place, so I slowed right down, and he was just waving his hands around & laughing. He followed me home, but only drove off once he saw me pull onto my drive. 2hats like him, shouldnt be allowed on the road.
Anyway, best be off....
Take care

Oh, AnnieB - my heart goes out to you all. Tomorrow is going to be unbearable, especially for your nephew and his wife; all you can do is be there. My thoughts are with you all.

Good morning all. It is the first time for days I have had time to sit and peruse this thread and others. I have finally got the whole day to myself at home without someone being here. Not that it will last for long as ds has a teacher training day on Friday and not sure if either of children are off on Thursday due to strike.
Sun is shining here in Kent. Lots I am supposed to do, but I may spend a fair bit of time trying to catch up with gardening. Got some seeds to plant in the greenhouse. Loads of wedding plans I should be getting on with, but the wedding is still 4 weeks away so no hurry! Probably get organised in last week. I need to resist temptation to catch up on tv with my crochet blanket in hand.

Happy birthday Kyle :T :T
(((hugs))) for smokey and all those that need them today
Stayed simple last night - casa nachos grande
tonight will be either veg balti or chilli from freezer (god bless batch cooking :A )
Thing with the wheely bin just proves that the whole place has actually finally gone NUTS. Which reminds me..... DS2 (8) told me last night that he didn't have to go to school on Thursday "because of a nut allergy or something." Turns out he meant the strike by the N.U.T. :rotfl: :rotfl:
Finally got our stuff planted for this year, too. I think we are a bit late with it this year, so we'll just have to cross our fingers that stuff grows. Got all the shingle round the raised beds though, so its looking very zen garden, though we have now got the only cat litter tray that can be seen from space! those pee off plants are on order!!!
Happy days all - and if I'm imposing, just say and I'll toddle off....:dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood :dance:0 -
Morning all,
Sat at work looking out the window at a mummy duck and her 14 ducklings! They live on a man made pond just outside my window and they look quite happy there! No boss today so I think I will spend the day surfing as long as the computer lets me!
Hugs to all those in need, special mention to AnnieB and Smokey. All you poorlies out there have a hug from a distance - I don't want to catch it!
Went to the physio yesterday for a routine appt and cause of the trouble my ankle has been given me I am back to using one crutch, talk about a step backwards but the pain is undescribable so it's probably for the best.
Happy Birthday to Kyle hope you have a fantastic day and get spoilt rotten.
Right the competitions thread is calling my name so I will be off!
Have a fantastic day everyone.

Morning!:hello:
Not read the thread yet, nor caught up with yesterday's, but just wanted to say hello as I haven't posted for a few days.
At any rate, it sounds as if it's Kyle's birthday, so Happy Birthday Kyle! Hope you have a lovely day.
((((((HUGS)))))) to all who need one - especially Penny-Pincher and Smokybabe - thinking of you.
:hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: to everyone else
I was at DD2's yesterday, and in the morning I looked after DGD so DD could take DGS for his swimming lesson. Poor DGD has caught chickenpox from her big brother and is a bit sorry for herself atm. When DGS had had his nap I took him to play ball in the garden so DD could have a power-nap, as she only got 2 hours' sleep the night before
Got to go to Asda this morning, for a couple of things I can't buy in the local shops except at a higher price. Still, I've made a list and am determined to stick to it.;)
Hoping to do a bit more decluttering today. - wish me luck!:D
Off now to catch up with the thread, Will try to pop back later.
Best wishes

Hi all! Haven't been here for the past few days, OH and I spent a few days in Paris, was wonderful. Borrowed a (richer) friend's flat but as the pound is so low against the euro everything was astronomically expensive so we had a bit of a budget weekend finding the cheapest places to eat. Anyway all was good and we had a lovely time.
Haven't caught up with all the goings-on on here yet but hugs to Smokey, PP and Anniebooklover's family, and anyone else in need.
A Very Happy Birthday to Kyle, have a wonderful day :bdaycake:
Just cleaning round and working through the biggest pile of ironing in the world on the agenda today. Have a chicken out of the freezer ready to roast tonight for a treat and because I need to refill the freezer with cooked meals, I had to defrost it last week and it's seriously in need of replenishment.
Have a great day all.
