Hope things are a little better this morning - weather forecast is for More Nice over the coming days(necessary for carboot/fair hopefuls).

Forgot to tell you, we waited at the stage door and MOT got two of the main characters autographs on her programme; Captain Von Trapp (an Aussie actor) and the lady that played the Mother Abbess - fabulous operatic voice. They were both really nice and chatted away to us. We waited to see if we could get Summer's autograph too but she was so long coming that in the end we left. Summer also plays a character in Hollyoaks, for those who watch it.

I am off to the local Private 'horsespiddle' on Wednesday to have an operation in a rather delicate place to remove an ulcerated fissure!:eek: Just happens to be the same day MOT has to re-visit her Consultant so she is going to be my chauffer. I'm being released the same day so MOT will be my nursey too.

Oh yes and I crunched my car door on Saturday too. Why are multistorey car park spaces so narrow and filled with nasty concrete pillars? More expense!

Thank you Ampersand for your kindness & you as well MOT.
Lack of money & pain & stroppy DS are all a wee bit too much at the mo,am also falling much more than usual so that is making me sore,wobbly & grumpy.
IT~Hope your wee op goes well~you have a fab nurse.

Hi Beanie,

No, haven't been to a pain clinic but will mention it to my Dr when I can actually get an appt to see him! Also going to ask him to refer me to the private Consultant I am seeing at the moment (seeing him as a result of the car accident) as I can't afford to see him privately. Need to get something done as can't walk more than 100 yds or so without excrutiating pain in my hip and lower back. Have checked on the Spire Hospital website and this Consultant does do NHS work at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital at Stanmore which isn't too far from here.

Just mention to cosultant that you want to be sloted into NHS & he should be able to do that,
DO you get Di9sability Living Allowance(DLA)?
If you dont ,consider applying.
Sorry my answers are short, I can only type wth one finger & it sometimes makes my wrist quite sore.
