Sounds like a poopsie£month ahead, mot.
Still no car change news? I'm always torn between the Devil I know/Devil I don't dilemna.
Have just come through a patch like this - so know how you feel.
Sitting outside today will be lovely - yes, I'm thinking about upping CAP DD to cover extra costs.

    Ah yes, question at large.
Have noticed since BST kicked in, that the Boards are still an hour behind.
It doesn't bother me, but might ask Techies why.

Thank you Moomin Girl for looking in!

Just a quick update, have now applied for DLA online and SW says I should claim for Incapacity Benefit, she doesn't know how I am managing on what I have coming in!

Phoned Tax Credits to chase my award notice but even though I answered all the security questions correctly he said I had 'failed' the secure check in and wouldn't speak to me any further - so I promptly burst into tears. I-T was here and got me to ring again and I spoke to a lovely Scottish girl who asked me the same questions and I passed!! Still no news yet on when my TC award will be issued and I need this for Housing Benefit claim which I put in last Friday and for free school meals - so until I get it I'm stumped

With regards to your HB claim and TC claim the HB can chase the TC for you, this happened with my nephew in fact his HB was being paid before he recieved any notification of his TC:rolleyes:

    Morning!

Thanks Gill for your post and pm which I will show to I-T later, I have a huge pot of that stuff so he's free to use it! He hasn't complained about any pain yet which must be a good sign, although he is suffering from a bad back - think it was when he lugged a huge box of paper across the study yesterday and he must have twisted it.

Yesterday, I-T bought me a 2 drawer filing cabinet so that I can organise my paperwork. He also bought me some bedding plants and planted up 2 hanging baskets for me and 2 tubs and there are still more to do but need some compost which I'll try and get today.

We are loading the cars today for the car boot tomorrow, just hope there's enough room for the twins when everything is in otherwise it's a long walk to St Albans :D:D .

Ampersand, I have found loads of coat hangers in the outhouse so will endeavour to do what you said with the clothes!

I-T's Dad wanted us to go for a meal tonight but we've declined due to having to get up at 5.30am tomorrow. His Dad is known for pouring rather large brandies after dinner so one of us (I-T ;) ) wouldn't be in a fit state to get up so early :rotfl: :rotfl: .

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend - enjoy the sunshine and take the time to potter around and relax xx

Hello MoT ... I wondered where you'd gone to!

Glad all well with the house but sorry that you and IT are in a poorly way. Hugs to you both.

Good luck with the car boot - never yet had teh courage but I really must at some point!

Enjoy this fab weather - I've managed to get burned already!

    Hi everyone!

Car boot done and managed to make a good profit considering it was all just house move clearout!

Ampersand was there too, so we nipped between stalls for a natter and the twins were glad to be able to escape my stall and the possibility of having to do any work ;) . I-T had stall next to me, so all in all a real DFW money making day!

Ampersand came back to my house and we all sat in the garden in the sunshine chatting and listening to the birds 'talking' to each other - I must get a bird table and bird bath as I have so many feathered visitors to my garden. Then we made a salady tea and sat with a glass of something cold and Italian and nattered again.

So all in all a lovely day (and my hip has been marginally better the last 2 days!).

Hasn't HB just been replaced with LHA? The change over may explain the delay in sorting out your claim.
