We're in!! Just Bankruptcy to deal with!

Hi all,

The old thread was getting a bit long so I thought I would start afresh.

Well, for those of you that don't know we moved in properly to our new home on Saturday. Still a lot of unpacking to do but I'm getting there.

We had D & T, I-T and Ampersand to share our first Sunday roast yesterday and it was lovely to see them all.

Today has been more sorting but I found time to 'save' most my 'Eviction Notice Served' thread to My Docs which I will then load onto a disc and hopefully print off one day so that when the twins are older they can read through it and see just what we went through.

It did unsettle me very much to glance at various posts from that thread, I'm obviously not ready to read it myself yet as I found it too upsetting.

Also, I do hope that all the angst I went through hasn't damaged I-T and my relationship. He tells me not and I must believe him.

Its so awful to see other threads starting like mine - BlueMonkey and Miss Cat. I want to give them as much help as I can but have to do it at my own pace as it is still very raw and now I am alone again with the twins I have to be strong.

Anyway, I would like to thank you all for reading this post and for your support over the past few months and I do hope that you will still support me as I start my new life.

ive been reading your diary and wanted to say good luck in your new home.

Also i noticed on your old thread a saying you put in bold blue. I wanted to give you another that i use everyday. i'm not really religious but its actually a prayer that i came across on a training course i did with some clients on assertiveness. its good when you need that extra little bit of support and is called the serentiy prayer.
god grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change, the courage to change the things i can and the wisdom to know the difference.

i find it helps me to put things into perspective.

keep up the good work and good luck.
Ps dont worry about the CMHT too, i work in one and they are there to help you and support you.

    Hi Bridget,

Thank you for the prayer, I have added it to my signature as the words are so meaningful.

    hi Vanda,

Yes, the space is fab!!! But where on earth did I put everything before??????? I have filled everywhere and that is with clearing out for car boots etc :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Floss2, its good to hear from you again, how are you?

And CheapasChips, if only if only ;););) !!!!

Going to see someone from the Church where my CAP representative is based tomorrow about 3 hours voluntary work - its admin work but it will at least get me out of the house and focus my mind more. I must start to look for a job soon as, apart from the money, I would go stir crazy just being within 4 walls all day - so fingers crossed and I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks Sophiesmum, I do hope that despite having to go bankrupt that that will be the only 'bad' thing to happen to us in along time xx

  • Hi MOT.
Well done on sorting that one out.
Trust me, the BR will be a piece of cake in comparison:D

    Enjoy your new home:beer:
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(

Will you please stop running before you can walk?
    Get unpacked
    Get a routine
Sort your Bankruptcy IF that's been advised.
Do 6 months continued voluntary,THEN look for your job.

It took you 29 months to get through what you have been through, now WHY do you think you can get back to normal in 4 days? Perhaps after all that you have been through the "NORMAL" goal posts have changed???

Please accept my comment with the love and respect that it was written with.

    Give Time TIME
Today, my BEST is good enough.
