Glad you're settling into your new home so well but please don't try to do too much too soon. Your posts sound so much more positive than they were but I think you still need to take your time getting better before even thinking about getting a job.

Goodness me! I miss a day on the thread and am welcomed by so many lovely posts!! Thank you all of you, I don't know whether you realise just how important your support is me still. I have 'wobbly' days or even 'part wobbly days' - this pm being one of them.

I do get panic struck when I realise it is just me and the twins in the house, not particularly because of security issues although they are a concern, but because I am alone more now than I have been for 3 months and whilst I enjoy 'my space' I do miss adult company dreadfully. This is when the past comes back to haunt me with a vengeance and I find my thoughts difficult to contend with.

But, on a brighter note I had my hair done professionally today having scrimped and saved for it and boy! what a difference! It is a fab cut and the colour and highlights are the best ever. I felt a million dollars when I walked out of the hairdressers. What is it with us women eh?

On a less bright note, I saw a rat outside my back door this morning so have rung Pest Control at DBC who said someone will ring me tomorrow to arrange to come round. Wonder if they quaked when they heard my name  !!!

A friend (someone I vaguely know actually) text me yesterday to ask if I would like to go to a quiz night tonight with her and 2 of her friends, I would love to have gone as I love quizzes but I don't know anyone to sit with the twins. Didn't want to ask I-T as he sat with them last night whilst I went to an Alpha course with D at her church, 2 nights on the trot I didn't think was fair.

Hope you're all well, please let me know what you are all up to as this thread is not only about me, I would like to know about you all too xx

    Hi

I thinks it is early days for you not still be wobbly on occasion - a lot has happened over the last number of months that would take most people a lifetime to recover from. Even you Wonderwoman cannot expect it all to go back to "normal" overnight.

Take each day at a time, and find your own space and place in the world again one step at a time. A slow successful journey has to be better than a rushed one with lots of ups and downs.

Take is slowly woman, or else.!!!!;)

    Vanda

PS Seen the weight loss, good on you.

    Hi all,

Had a reasonable sleep last night, but wake too early with chronic backache. Could keep Nurofen in business permanently!

Went to WW again this morning and have lost another 2 lbs :j making a total of 11.5lbs.

I-T and I had big clear out of spare room and sorted a lot of stuff togo to car boot. Then went to pick twins up from after school club and everything went downhill from then :o

It would seem that A is being picked on again at school, although I do wonder how much is brought on by his attitude as the move again has unsettled him and he has been rude and disrespectful for a couple of weeks now. Anyway, it all ended with he and I having an awful argument and him screaming that I was awful and he only wants to do what he wants to do not wash up as I had asked him. In the end I-T went and spoke to him and A eventually came downstairs and apologised and has been a different child since - lets hope he keeps it up! Thank God I-T was here because I find it so upsetting to have to deal with the aggression that comes from A when he gets like this. Its so out of character as he is normally a very loving, sensitive boy with a good sense of humour.

Do any of you have adolescent boys, is this normal?
