Hello all and Welcome Back wol2(we spoke of you being back yesterday) as the sun blazed down and birdies did indeed sing - as mot has related.
It was completely lovely and we all felt Boot had been worthwhile.
It was a good opportunity to start mot on her Mr T Points-Intensive Induction, which we sortakinda began.........but being outside peaceably was so nice.
We'll have a 'hands-on' Day Release Practical sometime soon.
Hope you've all had a gorgeous weekend, as a kickstart precursor of a good week to come.
locutus - I can give carboot courses ANYWWHERE.
Are you feeling a bit better beanielou?
Might look and see where Mr Plod ended up, mot ...........CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Morning all,
Ampersand, Mr Plod is winging his way to me as we speak (I hope)!! It was a nerve racking 5 minutes when I got in from collecting from his friend, and another person was in on the bidding but I got him for a very respectable £14.49!! Somewhat less than the auctioneer wanted last week at the auction
.
Washing on, line ready and ironing of school uniform to be done (forgot with all the excitement of the weekend!).
Twins have SATS starting today and little Miss F is up already (unheard of normally)!!! Mind you she is worrying about doing well in them, I just keep saying 'do you your best and that will be good enough'. She has revised so much.
So to my two lovely children - good luck and please don't worry :grouphug:Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
Yes please, me too - wishing Felicity and Adam well for SATS this week.
Was cross, as had edited to add this in, but it disappeared as I hit button.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Well, been to physiotherapy today and had an hour's indepth consultation, and was told by physio that I will need a long course of treatment and possibly an MRI scan as the delay in my having the steroid injection has compounded matters and I now have a trapped nerve in L2 and L3 in my lower spine. If the physio doesn't work then I will need surgery to relaese the trapped nerve.
The delay was due to the insurers on the other side deciding whether they would pay for the cost of the injection. It took 10 months from seeing the Consultant Orthapaedic Surgeon who examined me and recommended it, to the actual appointment with a 2nd Cons Orth Surgeon who examined me and made an appt for me to have the injection 4 weeks later - thank you Tesco Insurance for this!!!
Anyway, felt really uplifted that something was now happening and burst into tears on the way home - relief I guess
.
BUT, having spoken to my solicitor she has told told me that Tesco Insurance want me seen by a 3rd Consultant Orthapaedic Surgeon as the treatment recommended by the 1st one hasn't worked and my symptoms have worsened (what do they expect with a delay of 10 months!!!). And they want me to stop all treatment until I have seen this 3rd Consultant - the appointment for this will take some weeks as they have to gather my notes from everyone - the 2 Consultants, my GP and the Chiropractor. So a further delay in getting better   .
One of the symptoms of trochanteric bursitis is that the sufferer can end up being unable to walk - well due to the length of time this is taking that is where I seem to be heading as if I walk more than about 30 yards the pain becomes excruciating.
I am really sorry to offload yet again and wish that I could have a funny, laugh a moment thread going on here.Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -

Oh, mot - just back and just read your latest.
Another delay(what's the odds that next appt comes up between 14-25 August?)
Tesco Insurance have to be taken to task. Your sound point - (what do they expect with a delay of 10 months!!!) - must form the core of your argument. Perhaps your solicitor will take this up. If not, we can work on a letter.
I hope you can have some decent rest tonight and that twins' SATS were not too full of surprises today.

Hi Mot,
Glad the boot sale was profitable.:j
Tesco Insurance are the pits:eek: They mucked DS around for 9months following a crash that wasnt his fault:eek: They are a nightmare to deal with:D
I agree with Ampersand that your Solictior should be sending them a stern letter telling them that you will not be stopping treatment, as you have finally started feeling a litte improvement. The cheeky beggars:mad:
How did the the Twins find the Sats?
Its a pleasure to read your posts as you now sound so much more upbeat. Finally found some peace of mind and I am so glad for you.:A
(((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))))))))):j I have a persecution complex. Everytime I pass a shoe shop they persecute me till I buy them:j0
