Thankyou Gillianh2 for this:
.......... your Solictior should be sending them a stern letter telling them that you will not be stopping treatment, as you have finally started feeling a litte improvement. The cheeky beggars:mad:
It is even more important when you think of it this way - Tesco DARE to give YOU a MEDICAL instruction, with follow-on implications, to your solicitor over the 'phone???????
.
Your solicitor should have picked up on this and reacted fiercely, appropriately, at once.
Insist he/she does so today please, mot.
Just think of the boot being on the other foot and imagine Mr T's reaction.........what sort of feeble defence would that be!?CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Thanks Ampersand and Gill, that is exactly what I think!!
Am going to start a carefully written letter to my solicitor today listing just what I cannot now do due this bursitis and back pain, but will also ring solicitor and tell them what you suggested 'your Solictior should be sending them a stern letter telling them that 'you will not be stopping treatment, as you have finally started feeling a litte improvement'.
Twins came out of school saying that it wasn't as bad as they had expected - F even said she thought it was easy! By the time they got home and I-T asked them how it went they had changed their tune and said it was tough:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: They were in bed and settled by 9pm and asleep soon after which is good as they need sleep to be clear headed for the next day.
F woke in the night saying she could hear strange noises, I listened but couldn't make out what they were so she is now sleeping soundly in my bed!!
Today, I have to sort out my drawers and wardobes (need hanging space for A's clothes - they're not as small as they were and don't all fit in his drawers now
) then paperwork and filing. Out tonight with friend D which will be nice. Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
Phoned solicitor this morning and told that I had taken further legal advice (thanks Gill
) and that I will not be stopping my treatment and that she is to put that in a letter to Tesco. Said I am happy to see another Consultant if necessary but there is to be no delay with any treatment.
Strong enough?

Morning campers

Had a good day yesterday although why is it that when I plan to do a certain thing that I end up doing a whole lot more eh
?? Come on on now tell me please!!
Went up to change the twins beds, now this is something I have to think about carefully because of the stretching and leaning over so I have to be feeling 'fit'. Anyway, that done I then set to on a general clean and reorganise of several areas - I know that I shouldn't have lifted some of the things I did, but if I don't do it who will? But, it all looks nice and clean and tidy, and is coming together now as our home
.
Haven't done filing so that is my project today and I have a lovely new little filing cabinet - thank you I-T :A so no excuse for not being organised now
.
Got physio at 3.30pm - that's a relief! The physio is using a technique called Quantum Touch has anyone heard of it? He just lay his hands on the most painful areas using no pressure and whatever was happening was making a difference because I could feel myself standing more upright than before.
Then out tonight with I-T's sister to see a film - hope I can stay awake  .
On the subject of I-T his problem has returned so obviously the injections didn't work, but he has an appt with Consultant next week so hopefully he'll sort him out.Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -

Two bits of lighter note(latest from NZ Uncle again):
A man feared his wife wasn ' t hearing as well as she used to and
he thought she might need a hearing aid. Not quite sure how to approach
her, he called the family Doctor to discuss the problem.
The Doctor told him there is a simple informal test the husband
could perform to give the Doctor a better idea about her hearing loss.
Here ' s what you do, ' said the Doctor, ' stand about 40 feet
away from her, and in a normal conversational speaking tone see if she hears you.
If not, go to 30 feet, then 20 feet, and so on until you get a response. '
That evening, the wife is in the kitchen cooking dinner, and he
was in the den. He says to himself, ' I ' m about 40 feet away, let ' s see
what happens. ' Then in a normal tone he asks, ' Honey, what ' s for dinner?'
No response.
So the husband moves closer to the kitchen, about 30 feet from
his wife and repeats, ' Honey, what ' s for dinner? '
Still no response.
Next he moves into the dining room where he is about 20 feet from
his wife and asks, ' Honey, what ' s for dinner? '
Again he gets no response.
So, he walks up to the kitchen door, about 10 feet away. ' Honey,
what ' s for dinner? ' Again there is no response.
So he walks right up behind her. ' Honey, what ' s for dinner? '
' Ralph, for the FIFTH Bloody time!! CHICKEN!'

Subject: The Giraffe test -
1. How do you put a giraffe into a refrigerator?
[Stop and think about it and decide on your answer before you
scroll down.]
The correct answer is: Open the refrigerator, put in the giraffe,
and close the door. This question tests whether you tend to do simple
things in an overly complicated way.
Next:
2 How do you put an elephant into a refrigerator?
Did you say, Open the refrigerator, put in the elephant, and
close the
refrigerator?
Wrong Answer.
Correct Answer: Open the refrigerator, take out the giraffe, put
in the elephant and close the door. This tests your ability to think
through the repercussions of your previous actions.

Hi all,
Not much to report today apart from visiting garden centre to buy plants for the garden and getting absolutely soaked!! I-T coming tomorrow to put them in for me (poor old sod!) used to love planting up pots and tubs and borders but now thanks to hip and back..............? Anyway I will clean downstairs whilst he does that, can't wait to see it all done it will no doubt look so lovely - the front garden is on a downwards slope and has lawn at the top with a planting area below, so when you drive up the road it will be lovely to see the planting not just forest bark.
Went to WW this morning and lost another 2lbs so that is now my first stone :j and has given me great inspiration to lose another stone before our holiday in August
.
Had long natter with Wol2 who is coming for lunch on Sunday :TChristians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0
