    Morning I-T ;);) ,

Cleared your bedroom yet ;);) ??

Now, is that really the sort of chat-topic we want at this time of day?!

Hope all's well....was having a quick read & have come up with a couple of back-saving ideas....

Can the twins change their own beds to limit your stretching? I was changing my own bed by their age, as were my kids (less housework for lazy mum!)
How about gardening at a table? It lessens the strain on your back - but you'd have to find a nice strong man to shift the pots for you!
Have you thought about a counter claim AGAINST Tesco Insurance for the damage caused by their delay in your treatment? Even the threat may be enough to make them get their finger out.

I agree with you - a sharp letter to Mr T from solicitor is due.
mot-have found a ferry for 18h tomorrow, nothing sooner(also an Artemis Fowl story tape, tell twins please).

Just to clear the misconception Floss ;) I-T is having his bedroom decorated starting today and everything had to be cleared out giving the decorator a clear sweep so to speak! Even the carpet has gone thank goodness as it was a nightmare to vac. He is also having new carpets in the lounge, stairs and landing, so the lounge needs emptying too! There is wood laminate flooring in the lounge so I put a post on Freecycle yesterday offering the laminate and saying that he will need a hand to lift it - we got 14 replies!!! Someone coming on Friday to take that up so need to clear all the knick knacks tomorrow - what a mess his house will be! Stil its worth it as I'm sure it will look lovely when its all done.

Yes it is a good idea about the twins changing their own beds, F can do it now but A just wouldn't have a clue but unless he tries he won't learn eh?

I have a letter ready for Mr T which I just need to add a couple of bits to then I will email over to my solicitor and it is a strong one :D .

Ampersand, please drive carefully tonight and give A my best wishes - enjoy your time there and everything will be ok xx

Thankyou mot - yes, I was pretty sure you'd be overwhelmed with replies for the flooring. It's good though!
Take care of yourself and A will do the bedchanging thing perfectly well if you make little of it. Perhaps just needs F to help him cope for the first time or two at most? - I would  'suggest' you keep out of this entirely(my last bit of sweetly bolshily bossing for a while:naughty: :shhh: )
    Hugs all round.

Thanks Ampersand, I had thought of leaving F to show him how to do it but then felt that I was being a mean 'Mummy' :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Mean Mummy? Cruella DeVille could learn a few things from you MOT. JOKE!! JOKE!! :D When I was A & F's age I was making my own bed & that was in the days of sheets and blankets! Also had to do the vaccing every Sunday as well as help mum with the Sunday lunch - peeling spuds etc. The best chore was wheeling my sister in her pram round the block to get some air. My brother got the job of cleaning the bath, the loo and polishing the furniture. Think I got the best deal. So, get them kids doing those chores. See ya soon. Yours lovingly, Gardener in Chief

Thanks Wol, it is good to have you as friend too! Sorry I missed your call the other day but have been hibernating (sleeping a lot!) think it must be the weather  .

Off to Center Parcs tomorrow so been busy packing today. F thrown various strops as she wants to all but the kitchen sink!!! Have told her she can fill her rucksack but that is it - her clothes are with A's in a suitcase - we'll need a trailer if she takes what she wants to take  .

Have just checked the 5 day weather forecast and it looks a bit unsettled - where has the sunshine gone:confused: .

Has anyone noticed that Ampersand is missing from the boards? Well, she is having to deal with a serious illness of a really good friend of hers and I do hope that you will all wish her and her friend all the luck in the world please.

Will no doubt pop back on later and/or tomorrow morning, but I hope everyone is well and keeping DFW :grouphug: .
