    Hi MOT
So much to do so little time.
Well our house contents are sailing on the high seas to new zealand! Can't say that I am not a bit nervous about having my whole life in a 20ft steel box, but there you go.

I am not going to be around for a while as we have to actually get to NZ and then find a house, set up the intenet etc. So I wish you the best of luck with Mr T, plants being where they ought to be, that center parcs is fab and the weather turns glorious.

I also house that IT house is a dream at the end.

The children will come round ref chores I am sure. I think the light bulbl goes on when one of them want their favourite top, that didn't make it off their floor, to be washed, and they have to do it themselve or wear something else.......:D

Hope the bankruptcy thing goes ok soon.

And Ampersand, fingers crossed and all that.

    love and hugs
    chev
I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Chev's right, and it DOES work - it may be when there are no clean mugs (all festering in a bedroom) or no clean undies/t-shirts (ditto on the bedroom floor) or even when there is no clean cutlery for tea because someone hadn't done the washing up.... but you have to hold firm, and don't give in & do it yourself (as it will never sink in). Just be seen to be doing what has been agreed, and when the kid(s) don't do their bit you have to calmly say "well you did say that you would do it, that's why I DIDN'T do it" whatever it is.

Putting clothes in the laundry basket, bringing plates etc back from rooms, doing dishes after each meal, hoovering, changing beds, even ironing their own t-shirts - it's all part of training them for their own life as independent people, and you will be forever thanked by partners when you have produced self-reliant ironers that can wash-up! :D

    Hi all!

We had a good week at Center Parcs apart from the weather  but did have 2 lovely sunny days which made it all worthwhile.

Twins have gone on School Journey this week and are camping somewhere in Gloucestershire - had a letter from them both yesterday which made me cry. F cried when she left as she was worried about being away from home and A was the same but hiding the tears.

I have spent the week washing, drying and doing housework - its all done now and looks great!

Woke early again this morning and went onto the teaching vacancies website and found a part time receptionists job at the twins new school - so have spent the morning filling in the application forms and took them up to the school just after lunch - if I could get this job it would be such a Godsend as it is 3 minutes walk from home and would mean that I would be at home for when the twins are off school on holidays so no worrying about who would look after them if I got another job, plus also the money is much needed.

So I would be grateful if you would all keep your fingers crossed for me that I get an interview and then get the job as this really would be the icing on the cake for us.

Hope you are all well xx
