    Hi MOT
So much to do so little time.
Well our house contents are sailing on the high seas to new zealand! Can't say that I am not a bit nervous about having my whole life in a 20ft steel box, but there you go.

I am not going to be around for a while as we have to actually get to NZ and then find a house, set up the intenet etc. So I wish you the best of luck with Mr T, plants being where they ought to be, that center parcs is fab and the weather turns glorious.

I also house that IT house is a dream at the end.

The children will come round ref chores I am sure. I think the light bulbl goes on when one of them want their favourite top, that didn't make it off their floor, to be washed, and they have to do it themselve or wear something else.......:D

Hope the bankruptcy thing goes ok soon.

And Ampersand, fingers crossed and all that.

    love and hugs

Long time, no see to all on dear mot's thread which I am hijacking to look in briefly during a quick 24 hours rtn from France(back again tonight via early hours Eurotunnel).
Chev - just wanted to wish you well in your new life chez moi. Whereabouts in NZ will you be based, at least initiially?
All my best wishes for you and yours in Aotearoa.
Have now been in France for 7 weeks for A who, though only 39, tall, fit Antopodean, has been felled by blood clot on brain, and has also had both stroke and heart attack.
These weeks have not been easy - post-stroke behavioural and personality change are a very present factor, as is denial.
To all of you dear people, supporters true and much tried and proven for mot, would you include thoughts for this person, unknown to you as he is?
I would also appreciate sensible links re: atrial fibirillation and post-stroke effects.
The importance of sound, structured lifetstyle and diet(and yes re: Vitamin K factors)is much emphasised, so he has gained some weight in a good way(to numerous furies), thanks to my demon angel bossiness(necessary for a well-muscled 6'2" that never previously exceeded 55 kilos!)
Bless you all - I can sometimes pop away to our near small town to the cyberspace office when shopping or doing more P/W for A.
ALTE tests next week with cardiologist and hospital.
Was so glad to speak to you, mot, will try again today before I go back.
Again, hello to all on this wonderful thread.
Life is so precious - platitudes galore were never truer since this 'out of the blue' happening popped up.
Thought R's suicide was The Big One 7 years ago, but Life keeps setting us a new personal Agenda.... and off we go again.
    Survivors all, unite.

Good orning Ampersand, So lovely to hear from you and yet so sad under the circumstances. I am sure i can say on behalf of everyone that knows you, you are missed terribly here. But we know and understand the task you have undertaken. Not that i am saying it is a bad task of course. I think if i needed taking care of or needed my corner looking after then i can t think of a better person to do it than you. Prayers and thoughts for your friend. And lots of love and best wishes for you. I am sure there will be plenty of information will be coming your way as soon as every one gets out of their beds and reads your post. I hope you will be back on our shores very soon. Take care and a safe journey back. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Good morning Ampersand et al,

I am not sure if you will have time to read this before you go back to France again but I will call this afternoon. It was so good to speak to you last night albeit for a short time but we will catch up properly later.

And an apology to everyone for not updating my thread sooner - things here are relatively normal. I now have my bankruptcy court date set for next Wednesday 16th July and Owen from CAP is coming with me to court as is I-T.

The twins are looking forward to joining their new school in September but have worries too - just need to get their father to agree a date when to buy the uniform as we need to go to go together for this and we're at loggerheads about when we should go! Whats new

Have recently taken up ebaying some old items which I don't need anymore, one of which was a mobile phone which is still as new and a current model. The auction ended last Sunday and then I found out that it has been 'bought' by a nigerian using an American's ebay account and Paypal account so the listing was pulled! What a nightmare! So phone has been re-listed and I have blocked all from abroad on bidding for it - fingers crossed please for a good price next Sunday.

Today is twins school play which we are looking forward to seeing, and Friday is Sports day although at the rate this weather is going is likely to be put back to next week. Their school life is very busy at the moment. But they have 'Sex Education' lessons today which they are absolutley dreading! It really makes me smile when I see their reaction to having to have lessons on 'It' as they call it!

Anyway, school run beckons so I leave for now asking that you all remember Ampersand and her friend, A, who both need lots of thoughts and hugs during this difficult time for them both xx

Dear mot - what a spectacular weight loss total - have no idea whwre I am now...as lumpen as ever was I should think.
Partly, this is because A won't eat unless I eat and he must, so.........
Just heard the tailend of something aboput the vital importance of swift stroke care on Woman's Hour, but the website doesn't give more and I have already downloaded enough info to sink a ship.
    Is wol2 okay?
Emailed her from France, having found a kindly note and professional input offer from her, but nothing since.
Everyone take care - must away to Bank, optician, CAP, a.n.other place and the charity I help out at.

    Thankyou all

Will people please join me in telling ampersand to look after herself, so she is in a fit state to help others.

got to dash, glad you are doing well MOT; let the twins nag their dad - easier for him to comply coming from his kids.
