Fingers crossed the job application goes well.I'm retraining as a Teaching Assistant as school holidays would be sooo helpful

I thought of that too Molly, if I don't get anywhere with this job I may well try for TA instead. Good luck with your training!

Sunny again here today for the moment! Washing out, shopping to do but the best news is that the twins are home this afternoon :j not that I've missed their constant bickering though

Had a phone call at 8.30am from the school saying that the job shouldn't have been advertised on the website as they have had a reshuffle in the school and the post is no longer available:mad: She said that she would look at my CV and see if I can be considered for anything else that may come up!

Shopping and washing done, just waiting to go and collect twins :j

That's a bit out of order isn't it! do you think they have someone in mind for it? I would have though it needed to go through various processes before it goes onto a website and is advertised.

Yes, I would have thought so too, but no doubt they know what they are doing but its just such a shame as it would have been perfect for all of us! Told the twins when they got home and they were excited when I was first telling them then gutted when I told them the outcome.

Long time no speak. How is life the other side of the Moor from my office? Glad to hear that you are settling, but sad to hear about the school job. There seem to have been a few different school jobs advertised recently, I wonder if this is the time of year that they put them all forward. Maybe something else will come up. Still, personally I think you should apply for a job in housing at DBC, they need a good shaking up .
