Hi everyone, I should have started on doing DD patio at 8am but rain has stoped play. 2 tons of scalpings, 1 ton of sand 6 bags of cement and 21 sq mtrs of patio slabs have been delivered. It's stoped raining now so DH and I are off to start digging out 6" of soil  So very little OS being done today. Will raid the freezer for preprepered meals. Hope you all have a good day.

It is horrid when they first go, but in time you get used to it and don't want them back(to stay anyway;) )She can visit me anytime she wants:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

(((hugs))) to anyone who needs them today

Grrr, just typed a reply and the pc crashed and lost it. I'm going to have to keep nagging at OH to get it sorted because its happening more frequently and its driving me

Anyway, had a lovely weekend at MIL's getting waited on so i'm all relaxed now and my SPD pains seem to have eased off a bit today. I'm going to do some housework but it little bits and not throw myself full-pelt into doing everything just because i feel ok as it only makes me worse in the end

DD is back at school today, very excited about it, she loves school! OH is working up at the new house and then playing footy later so when he gets in tonight he'll be eating us out of house and home. Going to rummage in the freezer for stuff for tea, use up some of the smaller portions as we'll all be eating at different times tonight. Also want to write down exactly what i've got in there and go from there with the meal plan for next week :)

    Have a good day all

    Good afternoon!

Well I went to the gym first thing, then had a little look around here. Decided it was time to get on with housework etc. Went upstairs to strip my bed, and it looked inviting so I layed down on it for just 5 minutes.............ummm one hour later I woke up:o DH said he came up to see what was keeping me, and I looked so contented, he got a blanket to cover me up. Awww bless:D And I don't think it's got anything to do with it being his birthday on Wednesday:rotfl:

I've had a quick swish round the bathroom. DH cleaned the kitchen while I was asleep. So I'm off to Bluewater for a look round. I need to go to Lakeland to get some *free and easy*, want to bet I don't come out with just that:rotfl: And of course it would be rude not to go into John Lewis while I'm there, and I never want to be rude;)

Dinner tonight will be the roast lamb I couldn't do yesterday. I love lamb, it's my absolute favourite:D

mrs mix, hope you get some good results for your Dad

tattycath, sorry you didn't get a better response about that email. I expect it was just a rubbish spam type one, but very upsetting just the same.

Jussy, sorry to hear about your grandad ((hugs))

stefejb, hope you have a good lunch with your friend, and that you are feeling better soon. I take it you did more than throw a fleece over your jammies for the lunch:rotfl:

I'm off to [strike]spend[/strike] be a thrifty little bee;)

Forgot, Haribo when are you posting?? You know the Penguin and the Mouse don't give up the pursuit that easily:D You have until I get back, mmmmmm about 4 pm then;) And SnowyOwl, it's about time you made an appearance too!!!!!!

    Hi everyone

Havent had a chance to look through the thread yet, but hugs to everyone who needs them.

Commiserations to master DLB but well done for getting as far as they did, and glad you had a good time at the match!

We've had some good news this morning, our offer has been accepted on the house! So we will be moving quite soon as there is no chain as the person who we are buying off is buying ours! And the house is empty at the moment. So things will be tight for a couple of months when we move but this house is great and we wont need to move again as its got plenty of room for us and visitors when they come!

DS had me up at 4.15am this morning and i couldnt sleep after that so had to wake H at 6.30 to take him so i could get a couple of hours as didnt think i would manage the day otherwise! Been feeling a bit unwell the last couple of days so hope i'm not coming down with anything.

BM due to finish any minute and made some banana muffins yesterday with the nearly gone off bananas, they are yummy! Bedlinen has all been washed this morning as well so got a lot done really!

Hope everyone has a good day x

    Afternoon :hello:

((hugs)) Jussy, sorry to hear about your granddad.

Well done master dlb, it sounds like a great match even though the team didn't win.

Purpleivy, whenever you mention your DD taking her cello with her on her gap year, it makes me grateful that the only instrument I took to an advanced level was my voice :rotfl: I have an acquaintance who has been strongly discouraging the interest her 8yo DD has been showing in learning the harp, as her 10yo DS already plays the double bass and she and her husband don't want to be condemned to a life with two Volvos :D :rotfl:

I went to a fantastic symphony concert last night, but had some worrying news from a friend I ran into - a mutual friend has recently been diagnosed with cancer, and is currently in and out of hospital while they work out exactly where the problem is and what they can do about it. The fact that they haven't found the source of it doesn't sound good :(

I had intended to go to the gym after work, but had a change of plan - I found out by chance that a show I was hoping to see tonight has released some last-minute discounted tickets for under 30s, which I still am - just! I would have been reluctant to shell out the full price of £30, but am more than happy to pay the concessionary rate of £9.50. Show is not until 8, and I will need to go home after work to pick up my passport as proof of age. So I will go to the gym tomorrow lunchtime instead.

HM pasta and bolognese for lunch (reheated in work microwave) - not sure what's for dinner, it'll be whatever comes out when I open the freezer - LOL :D

Hugs to smokybabe, Penny-Pincher!!, Benthosboy and all others who want them.

    Love Rzl xx

    Hi everyone

Not much to report here - house guests have gone (thank heavens) went hiking at the weekend (it nearly killed OH, anything over 20 km flattens him :rotfl: ) I fell in a stream and we managed to trek half of the countryside back into the house but it was nice to get out. :)

Will be eating lots of curry this week as OH and his friends managed to wipe the fridge out of main meal items very fast - two packs of sausages and a quiche is not one breakfast but probably four to five main meals  . I am refusing to go shopping again this week, we have plenty of lentils and dried things, so it will be fine. :D I made a huge pot of toor dahl last night. I don't get the urge guys have to cook three meals a day (and the mess?!?!?). What on earth is wrong with a sandwich for lunch?

I'm still not feeling great, but it's probably just stress, so I'm trying to ignore it. My boss is back, which doesn't help. :(

have a good day, cel x
