morning all,
Just a quick hello and hope everybody is OK.
We're getting our first monthly shop delivered tonight - hopefully OH will stop mwhinging about there being no food in the house! I know its sad, but i'm quite excited about getting the food bill down and planning better and using things up. its a big change from before when OH and i had more disposable income and had whatever we fancied, not what weas actually in!
Have a good day everyone. Well done on all those who have done / will do lots of housework. I need to have a blitz this week - that palce is a mess.

Hi all - day off again today so WM on, and if it is still sunny when it's finished it will be going on the line.
Spending the day with my sister today, as out dear grandad passed away yesterday, so no doubt lots of crying but the knowledge that he is no longer in pain is a great support.
((((Hugs)))) to everyone who needs them.
Off to do a bit of baking, because cake always helps.

morning again,
just having breakfast and a surf then off to carry on, have hovered through, mopped floors polished, cleaned bathroom, and our bedroom. Got the chicken carcass on the hob making stock, which will later be turned into fridge leftover soup, need to get the cottage pie and veg done for tonight, then get boiler suit and mask on and enter DD's bedroom  .
Also need to do an online shop.
Kathy salad cream with cottage pie   _pale_ :silenced: thats just wrong, although I have to have salad cream with lasagne and pizza
Jussy so sorry to hear about your grandad, lots of hugs to you xx
Stefjb and the ivy's take it easy and do not rush back to work too soon, it will all still be there when you are better xx
Tattycath poor you report that e-mail hugs to you and poorly DD xx
Well better get on0 -
Morning all.
Jussy - sorry to hear about your grandad.
Tattycath - what an unpleasant email to receive - could it have been meant to be amusing, sort of in the style of those silly phone messages you see advertised? Whatever, it doesn't sound very nice, horrid thing to do to anyone.
Hope everyone who has these assorted bugs and nasties feels better soon.
Well have got an appt for my hair to be sorted out this afternoon, fingers crossed that it doesn't get any worse! OH is working from home today and has decided to come into town with me, hope he isn't planning on sitting there whilst I have my hair mended! I know he'll moan when I do my bargain hunt in boots, also got to get some wrapping paper and gift bags, so that'll mean poundland and he hates it there as well
Not much of any excitement today, got to pop lasagne into oven later for dinner and whip up a salad, but that's it. Bit of tidying to do, most of the mess is in the kids rooms though, and they can do that! Ironing for oh going away needs doing, still waiting for him to give me the stuff he wants to take, apparently it is ALL in the clean washing pile, nothing in his cupboards!
Good news is that I'm not at work tonight, yippee :T :TGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
:hello: Morning!
I have a busy day today, after walking the puppy I must sort out the fridges and make room in the 2nd one as I have just managed to get (and hopefully pick up tonight) 15 bags of organic flour, granary, whole meal and white, at a really good price :j so the bm will be on the go non stop around here until I can see the shelf again!:rotfl:
We have friends coming around for a meal on thurs evening and as i don't finish work until 6ish I am going to start to cook for it early. Today I hope to make the potato and leek soup and some wm rolls and pop them into the freezer ready.
Then it will be the daily paperwork as I have committed to making that my change for this week.
Good luck to all of you at the dentist today (((hugs))) After this years huge amount of dentistry I am very relieved to have a break from mine!
(((hugs))) to Jussy and sister, i find cake helps for most things.
(((hugs)))) to Smokey,Pen pin, and anyone else who could use one

Morning everyone,
Dogrose....if you do find a solution to the washing basket thing let me know...I believe there is a bottom to the pile but the kids are determined to show that there isn't.
Well done on the weeding and lawns, my back ached just thinking about it! Did some gardening last week so that's me done til August...
Kathy - Salad cream goes with anything unless it's sweet....hmmm hmmm. Mind you so does chilli sauce.....
stefejb - the thankless man-flu...really is a no-win thing as it's no fun but people don't understand it....hope you're better soon.
Weather is fine and a bit warmer...been warned not to turn our heating off yet though....one ray of sunshine doesn't make it summer apparently....
hugs to all who'd like them...For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070 -

Hi all. Been to drs with DD-apparently her headache, stomach ache and nausea are not side effects to the tablets-it's a migraine!!!
Phoned police and isp provider as suggested/recommended. Police said talk to your isp provider-we can't really do anything they can do more than us... ISP provider said-we'll send you an e.mail with some filtering software to download-great, don't know why I bothered now-they obviously don't give a s**t!!!
