its not on land registry details, not on 192 or phone book, she wont give it to me and i dont think she will give me my deposit back
what can i do? i thought they have to legally give you an address on an assured shorthold tenancy

Have you tried googling her? My old landlord gave me a false address, I found him because he had a pending planning application.0

How do you contact her now? Why not just deduct deposit from last month's rent.

It is illegal to not have a UK contact address for a landlord. That doesn't have to be theirs, but a valid contact address through which they can be contacted.0 -
Dis your tenancy start after 6 April 2007? If so Landlords are required by law to put deposits in to one of 3 government backed deposit schemes. see here

I'd stop paying the rent if I was planning to move out anyway.
It's against the terms of your contract (presumably) but if the money's in your hands she's got to sue you whereas if the money's in her's you have to sue her.0 -
im still living here but moving out at the beginning of june
