I had a lovely lie in today as DD2 decided not to get up till 9am, made the most of it as I shall be up at 7am every morning from now on to get DS off to school. We've had a nightmare weekend but hopefully we are all on the mend from it now but I've woken up with my joints killing me and I can't manage the stairs today. Will get some washing on in a minute and then get DD2 dressed so we can go and do the first shop of the month. I need loads so my shopping bill is going to be high this week.
DH is at work all day, it still seems weird not having him home at the weekendOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

TM,
I know it can be a bitter experience when others don't show the care and respect they should but try not to let it get you down. At the end of the day you will be able to live with yourself and be able to hold your head up high and say "I did my duty not out of duty but out of love. I was a good daughter, a credit to my parents" You are also fortunate enough to have the wisdom not to squander this opportunity to say the things that need saying, to be where you are needed most and to set such a fine example to your children.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family today :A
I'm struggling to find the right words to say right now as it's something that hits very close to home and I went through the same thing 3 years ago with my mum. If you need someone to talk to, either now or later on, my inbox is always open hun.
