Morning All :hello:
Another bad night and up early again. Well at least I have been able to start the thread again
Both DD & OH have been up and down all night with there sore throats, temps and coughs  OH & DD are hopefully going to look at a possible secondary school today-I really dont think I can make it as I can just about move this morning, but will see how I am about 10Cant belive my baby goes to secondary next year
Have about 3 washloads to do and the 20 min blitzHopefully the weather will be good so it can be hung outside, but will not hold my breath
Lunch today is lamb chop, mash & veg. Dinner HM chicken & sweetcorn pie (leftover meat from sunday)with new pots & carrots.
As the pizza turned out so well last night, we have decided to have this once a fortnight as our take-away treat. It was sooooo lovely and tasted honestly just like pizza hut but the base not as deep as the deep pan IYKWIM!! OH made the dough in the BM using value plain flour, water, tsp margerine, water. Then for the toppings, he used tom puree, grated cheddar, 2 slices ham, 1/2 tin pineapple then drained 1/2 mozzarella (lidls cheapie) and sliced thinly on both pizzas and is still half left. Worked out the 2 pizzas cost about £1 for both  1 Hawaiian and 1 Double Cheese.
Still havent had an email form Asda about all their mistakes yesterday but will keep you updated on that.
Anyway, not a long one this morning as not feeling too great and need some pain killers and drink.
Will pop back in later. Have a nice day

annoyed with dh this morning.....he hade me a fabulous kitchen unit yesterday to go in the spare space....its got all our appliances on therefore freeing up our worktops BUT....and its a big but....he took two penny sized chunks out of our new lino thats only been down for 3 weeks!!!....aaarrgghhhhh.....also when we were on way to bed last night he told me to go up first and he would turn everything off and get the brisket out of the freezer so we could try a pot roast kinda thing in the slow cooker.i come down this morning, brisket still in freezer and living room light on!! men!!!
not overly sure what today will bring......going to strip the beds down and change bedlinen,have-including bedding-3 washloads, will be sending dh to post office to post some things and also to morrisons to get the bit of shopping i need, few diy jobs for him.....other than that not sure, its always a bit see how it goes when hes on his days off....ahhh well hes back to work tomorrow so back to normality then.
hope everyone has good days.0 -

morning!
well i had a rubbish nights sleep but that cos i slept alot of yesterdaybody isnt used to being on holiday  and i went to bed upset because of my OH.
It was my birthday yesterday but everything seemed to go horribly wrong.. wont go into everything else but lets just say it wont be one i remember.
ANYWAY, new day, new start! Just sat and made a long list of things to do today because my house is a mess. (i have 4 days worth of washing up to do) Ive slipped so badly this week and im ashamed of myself. First priority is the washing up! :rotfl: Then nipping over the post office (2 mins walk away :j ) to get some Gas as it ran out yesterday evening so had to push the emergency button  and need to post some letters that have been lingering in my bag to post for at least a week.
Next job is to tidy and clean house top to bottom.. must ring mum and ask her can i borrow her vaccum tonight when dad gets in from work! Then im off to tesco to get some shopping! Old mother hubbard would be proud of me at the mo.. been putting shopping off and using things i had up because im skint! But gotta bite the bullet! Plus i borrowed mums slow cooker last night :j :j :j As i still dont have my cooker installed (20 days since it was delivered :rotfl: ) it will be nice to be able to eat something cooked not nuked in the microwave!
Dont know what im doing with the rest of my day then though... sure i'll find something that needs doing. Ah well.. off to make some breakfast and a cuppa.... if i can find a clean cup and plate:rotfl:

Morning everyone:wave:
Hugs to those who need them either through illness or OH's!!
Well, I'm going to Manchester airport soon - just checked and the flight's delayed by 1 hour (thank heavens for internet updates) but there appear to be 3 separate flights coming in from Toronto at the same time  At least it gives me time to do a few jobs and check on here of course, before I go.
Made a lovely fruity loaf in the BM yestarday - it had all gone with 20 minutes, courtesy of 4 hungry childrenMust put another one on in a minute. Spag bol for tea as I promised everyone garlic bread tonight. Will take some fruit to the airport with me as that may be my lunch.
Need to strip my bed and unpack/repack DW too. So much to do and I need to go in 40 minutes.....I'm off now......

Hello all
Have been out there digging again in the hope of getting a second large bed of green manure sown.I have 2 potatoes planted into pots in the greenhouse for (hopefully) new potatoes for christmas day.The last owner of our house left lots of bits of plastic pipe behind, which fit one atop the other so will be ideal for 'earthing up' as the potatoes grow.
DD and I have been practicing French this morning.
We had cheese ,tomato and rocket sandwiches for lunch. This afternoon we go to the library to stock up on gardening books and cookery books for me and music CD's ,biographies and a look at the teen magazines for DD.
Tea this evening will most likely be Quiche,Broccoli, baked pots and carrots, as I have an open packet of bacon bits.
I've been reading up on winter planting in a cold greenhouse and there looks like quite a lot of plants I could try.0
