Ahhhh so it's you I should be blaming for the sudden beetroot fetish
Oh, and I'd just like to make something perfectly clear ... just for the record like ... and that is that I NEVER, EVER owned or wore either a pair of black shiny, or pair of shocking pink skin tight lycra trousers and I certainly didn't wear them with a black fluffy cowl neck and batwing jumper and black velvet tukka boots!!!
Just so long as that is clear ok:rotfl:

Hi everyone!!
Well it's been a busy, busy, busy sort of day. Wet here to got the washing out on the airer first thing and then hoovered the house. Did the school run and then had an interview at a college to do a work related course which begins in November. After work did the sandwiches, a cheat's tea [Lidl quiche and broccoli] and now I am back at work doing the evening shift and having a rest!! Very pleased to day as have found a company called Red House which do children's books and have ordered all 10 of the horrible history series for £9.99 as an Xmas present for the small person. Also got given free chocs in Sainsbury's on my way in. Good oh!
Regards

hi all, still stuck at work and feeling very tired right now... probably something to do with staying up til half one to start my hm soup last night and getting up at nine to finish off making it
, ah well... it's waiting for me and my dinner guest tonight, smells gorgeous and will be just the thing for sleepy tired me
(it's chicken, veg and brown lentil broth made with my rubber chicken stock). I'll fling together a quick bolognese whilst that's heating through and that'll do me for lunch tomorrow too
.
I reckon I'll wake up a little when I get home - there's something very sleepy making about the lighting in work once it's dark outside (although it's still really very bright in here) and I'm sure my own lamps at home will help out muchly.
enjoy the rest of your daysPre O/S: what's a vitamin? Does it begin with the letter e?Now: I'm not eating any of that pre-made rubbish...0 -
Evening all!
Haven't posted on here for a while but have been reading avidly.
I think cause I haven't been up to much so feel like I have nothing to write...oh well....no change today.
The house could do with a good blitz so I might give that a go tomorrow.
took the dog for a walk this morning, came home put a load of washing in.
Had to take our elderly cat to the vet today...I'm not sure its looking good.
DH gave him a bath today cause he's just too old to keep himself clean anymore and his back end was looking decidedly suspicious
Took him in but they were having no joy in trying to examine him. It might be a tumour, it could just be an infection. He's got antibiotics to clear up his chest so it might clear up the other if its an infection...
He's just too old to do anything with. He's got to be at least 22. My DH childhood cat.. I'm finding myself a bit upset about it but in some ways it would be a relief...(he's smelt like hes decomposing for years!)
Antway have to keep an eye out and see how it goes.
Apart from that, made moussake but with potatoes for dinner and baked some flapjack..0 -
Hi evrybahdy!
Bored bored bored! OH is still at work, I still have his blomin cough which I only got cause the antibiotics I was taking had already knocked me sideways!
Oh well, didn't get the washing out because it has been horrible here! PP where in London are you, there is an italian market in Wimbledon over the next couple of days perhaps I could drop round with some salami?!!
Going to put the washing in the tumble and enjoy its noisy warmth! Incedentally we didn't used to have to pay for our leccy (Npower  don't ask) so have some catching up to do!!
Off for a fruit tea cuppa and some almondy biscuit things I made the other day bliss! And I am going to watch billy from neighbours in House on C5!!oooh look only about 220 posts and I got round to doing my Avatar already!!0
