    Cooee:hello:

At work again. Started early today for a photo call. So lost an hour in bed and I'm really feeling it!

Topped up my phone today with £20 which has got to last me the month. I've just run out of free texts, which came with the phone, and my friend doesn't appreciate this so, managed to spend £20 which was already on the phone in the space of a week and a half:eek: Really need to stop that NOW!

But I'm not going away anymore so there's some cash saved.

    Hope everyone's ok

    Hello everyone :)

Thanks for all your good wishes and the pm's I have received recently.

Dad died on Sunday afternoon, actually whilst I was back at home for that couple of hours, which upset me, but my sister and Mr TM were with him - he'd just seen my boys as I'd sent them over. It was very peaceful in the end and I'll always remember him "asleep" in his armchair, when I did get back.

Anyway, everything is up in the air at the moment. I'm running around trying to get everything organised. I seem to have a permanent headache at the moment, which is not surprising and it's struck me in the last couple of days how absolutely exhausted I am. With Mr TM being away most of the summer hols and dad being in hospital, I spent all my time charging around doing stuff for everyone else. Add to that the fact I had such a bad hol, it's not unexpected really. At least I'm making myself eat well (altho I will admit to buying 20 ciggies, something I haven't done in years)

I am on my own for a couple of hours this afternoon as DS2 is at playschool and TBH I need it. The house looks like a bomb has gone off and there's been no washing done since Saturday etc. So, I'm having a butty and a cuppa before setting to. I will put the BM on as I hate bought bread now and will make a tomato sauce to go with pasta for tea as the boys are off doing things tonight.

Off to have a couple of Ibuprofen now, and maybe a ciggie, but don't tell anyone.

    TM

So sorry to hear about your dad TM.

Make sure you get OH and kids to muck in and do their share, although sometimes it's easier and more theraputic to do it yourself I find.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your dad :grouphug:

You and family are in my thoughts and prayers. My friend sent me this little poem when a close friend died. I hope you dont mind me posting it.
At the rising of the sun and at its going down,
    We remember them.

At the blowing of the wind and in the chill of Winter, We remember them.

At the opening of buds and in the rebirth of Spring,
    We remember them.

At the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of Summer,
    We remember them.

At the rustling of leaves and the beauty of Autumn,
    We remember them.

At the beginning of the year and when it ends,
    We remember them.

    As long as we live, they too will live;
for they are now a part of us, as we remember them.

When we are weary and in need of strength,
    We remember them.

When we are lost and sick at heart,
    We remember them.

When we have joys we yearn to share,
    We remember them.

When we have decisions that are difficult to make,
    We remember them

When we have achievements that are based on theirs,
    We remember them.

As long as we live, they too shall live,
for they are a part of us, as we remember them.

    Please take care.

    Afternoon everyone!

Well, I'm sat here with a glass of wine, which is very :naughty: at this time of day, especially considering I haven't eaten anything yet, but I needed something to help calm my nerves after all the stress this morning :o

Not had much sleep either as was on the phone to eldest from about midnight till 4am then up again at 6am helping youngest get sorted for school, his first day back although they went back on Monday but his ankle is much better and he can walk on it better now. Eldest is now safely in hospital but it was touch and go whether we'd get him there and unfortunately they've had to section him :(

Think it's all just starting to hit me and I can't stop shaking. Managed to get a few things done whilst waiting for the phone calls - showered, dressed, cleaned cat litter trays, fed and watered all the animals etc, put washing machine on - but now I feel ready to fall in a heap :o (Sorry for bringing my problems to the board again but I haven't got anyone else to talk to about any of it right now and it helps writing it down in a way.)

Hope everyone else is well and I'm gonna go catch up on the threads and try to distract myself for a while till youngest gets back from school.

(((((CQ)))) sounds like you need a good rest - take the rest of the day off, except for the absolute necessary (as in can't wait until tomorrow stuff)!!!

  • Curry Queen: Just don't worry about bringing stuff to the board - I suffer from quite bad bouts of depression and I can't tell you how this place has helped keep my sanity...... (and my bank manager's due to the prudent nature of the site so I'm sure he thanks you as well!!).

Take some time for YOU - nobody ever gets to 90 and says "I wish I'd ironed more" - now "drank a lot, fell over and gone to wild parties" is a different matter ! :D

    Take care
