Glad you haven't been admitted PP sorry about the blood tests tho! I don't like blood tests myself (needles ) and yet I became a blood donor
It sounds like they are taking good care of you. Good luck with the new meds!
Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

This morning I dug up my potatoes. There were 20Lb's altogether which isn't bad considering they went in so late and some of them had to contend with a bay tree for water. The ground where they were is nice and tilthy now.
we had microwaved boiled eggs and HM bread for lunch
In the afternoon DD and I made Blackberry Jam.There were not as many as I had thought but we still managed to make 3 jars full.My preserves shelf is looking quite nice now with a large jar of pickled cucumber,3 jars of bottled pears,4 jars of bird cherry jam,2 jars of potted blackberries and 3 jars of blackberry jam.We havent quite finished the marmalade I made back in Jan,we are on the last 2lb jar, next time I'll have to remember to but 6lbs of sevilles instead of 3 so they last all year.
OH propped up the fence at the bottom of our garden at the weekend(not our fence but it was hanging off its supports and threatening to hit someone on the head). We have had quite a lot of somebody elses garden rubbish thrown into our garden in the last few years and think its been coming through that gap.So today I was clearing the area down there so it is obviously part of our garden and not No-mans Land as 'might' have been thought.
Was going to do liver and bacon for tea but realised I'd forgotten to buy any liver so we had toad in the hole, baked pots and veg and some tiny little potatoes from the garden, too small to put away with the rest0 -
Morning Everyone
Can't believe I am up before both Glad and Penny-Pincher to start this thread! Actually, I wish I was fast asleep but sleep has been an uncommon friend in the land of SnowyOwl for quite a long time now.
Today will be another day at the dreaded, four-letter word...WORK, so not as much time available to devote to OSing as I would like. However I have an Old Style breakfast - porridge - and get home for lunch, with enough time to cook rice or pasta and have a proper meal. I have saved lots of money doing this (I guess about £3-£5 a day compared to when I bought my daily lunch pre-OS) and I have noticed that my desire for crisps and other snacks in the afternoon has virtually disappeared.
This evening if it's not raining I'll go for a nice long walk and bring some containers with me. I live in the country and there are lots of free blackberries for everyone - yet for some reason many people choose to drive to Sainsbury's and buy them there! I will never understand it.
I am going to go try and get another hour's kip or else I will be mega grumpy all day.
Happy Tuesday everyone.

Morning Snowy and All
DD back to school today going into her final year at juniors  Im really going to miss her. She has been my rock through the holidays with me being so ill. She got into bed with me last night and asked if we could home teach her, so that she can spend more time with me and make sure Im looked after (tablets, food, drink etc..lol)-shes only 10 but very grown up. I said that it wasnt really an option and that she needed to be at school with her friends and kids her own age-not her old mumTold her that shes a very brave young lady, love her more than anything, that im very proud of her and apreciate all her help. I felt like my heart was being crushed and Im getting upset just writing this down...sorry.
Anyway, change the subject. Today i have about 3 washloads to do, 20 min blitz, toilet, shopping coming from Asda and OH is going to do more decorating in DD's roomThink I may wash my throw patched bedspread in the washer too and let it dry on the line. I use it daily over me on the couch as I get quite cold.
Im going to watch something i taped off tv last night and have a sleep sometime today-still feeling so rough and just getting really frustrated with it all. Im 31 next week and feel 90
Going to ask DD what she wants for her tea tonight and do it for her as a treat. Think it will be toad in the hole..lol with mash pots and carrots
I need to take up a hobby-would love to do patchwork quilting but hands are difficult to use some times. Anyone know if its hard or not
Everyone have a great day.

Hi Snowy Owl and P-P, :hello:
Usually by the time I read this thread its three pages long! I cant believe Im up so early, I havent been up this early since before the school hols.
Had a bad night last night, back to work today so feeling sorry for myself. Its not so much going back to work, its the girls going back to school and all their out of school activities starting again as well, as I seem to spend so much time rushing around, watching the clock and chivvying everone along, and not enough time to do anything else like OS. This is why I need a new job with different hours. Ive also persuaded the girls to give up one of their activities, they have both chosen tennis, which means a free night! (Monday) I did feel a bit mean doing this, but really they are very lucky to have the opportunity to do all the things that they do.
Im just having my tea and toast whilst typing, then I will wake up DD's who are still slumbering (lucky things) and bundle them into the car in their slippers and dressing gowns as I have to pick up nannie, (its only 10 mins away) who is coming here to look after them today. Later, after work, its Brownies for oldest DD and bath and early night for them before 1st day at school tomorrow. But I am doing one OS thing today! I have got a shepherds pie out of the freezer for tea, and its not a sainsburys one either, it was made by my own fair hands!
Have a good day all. :wave:0 -
:hello: Morning all :hello:
PP - bless your DD. She is evidently growing up into a little lady to be proud of.
Snowy - give your cat a huge hug. That has always been my therapy - though sometimes the cat hasn't thought so.
Well, yet again, I'm breaking one of my pledges - sitting here typing in my dressing gown and I haven't had my breakfast or shower yet. I think that breakfast will be boiled egg and some toast. The milk has to last the week, so I take it upon myself to have different bits for brekkie, leaving OH to have his weetabix (Tesco own brand!)
I've got some very ripe bananas, so I'm going to try and make a banana cake. Haven't made one for ages, so hopefully it'll still turn out ok.
I've also got to get myself sorted for my meeting with the supply teaching agency tomorrow. They want to see a utility bill, passport, birth certificate etc etc etc. Luckily, I know where all these things are, but it's a bit of a hassle getting them out of their hidey holes!
Have a good day everyone.

PP your dd sounds like a wonderful girl, you're lucky to have her.
DS started secondary school this morning, he looked so smart in his new uniform and tie that I nearly cried when I say him. I managed to tie his tie after only 2 attempts so I was quite pleased with that and got 3 piccies on the digital camera to show his dad.
Most of the housework is done, I just need to load the washing machine and I have a doctors appointment at 11.30. Will have to take DD2 with me as DH had a night shift last night.
Still 2 weeks to go until she starts Infants, and I appear to have lost all the uniform I bought from the schoolGuess I'd better start hunting for it now, it will probably take 2 weeks to find it.
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
