Oh whatawit, you did make me laugh! Was thinking of dying my hair as well, but with the current disaster and hearing about you perhaps I should have a rethink! Do you think our daughters know each other! Anyway, hope she enjoys her tea, mince has sometimes done that to me for no apparent reason, I just squidge it about a bit with a spoon, and add some more tinned toms!

    Good morning all!

Slight disaster here, I hate having my hair cut, so usually dd2 just trims the ends a little when necessary, but last night dd1 did it  For some reason she thought she'd turned into flippin Vidal Sassoon, I now have a bob and look like a wartime refugee at best, and Dougall from the Magic Roundabout at worst:rotfl: Looks like I shall be off to the hairdresser tomorrow now, think some layers might help, either that or I shall be asking if anyone has any balaclava knitting patterns!

Got to collect dd3 and her friend in a bit, then when oh gets back from the gym we're off to pizza express for dd1's birthday meal, bit late but we were busy over her actual day! Anyone after butchering me she's lucky to be going - can anyone tell I'm traumatised by my haircut, lol!

Anyway, have a good day everyone x
hi this is tattycaths daughter my mother is unable to write as she is rofl in fact she is crying with laughter !!!:rotfl:
I have recovered now-I'm sorry but the way you tell it is so entertaining and I could just picture the scene-I'm just thankful I wasn't drinking my tea at the time. My daughter came running downstairs and I just couldn't compose myself long enough to tell her so I had to point at the screen.:rotfl:

    It's Sunday.gif

    Morning everyone
Didn't sleep that well last night - everytime I started dosing, the dreaded cramp would return. I managed about 4 hours though, so at least I wasn't up all night.

It's been a productive morning so far - kitchen has had a good clean, and the last load is in the WM. Dinner's cooking and dishes are done.

We had an absolutely gorgeous bacon, egg and mushroom sandwich for breakfast drool2.gif Not something I can start eating regularly as my clothes would probably end up being too small, but it was nice.

We're staying in the house today, and I've decided that Sundays will be the nominated cleaning day. It has been much easier to tidy bits and pieces in the week, after last Sunday's clean up.

I've finished my educational philosophy, so just need to send that off now. Hopefully the LEA will be happy with my focus on reading, writing and arithmetic. We shall see.

Plans for the rest of the day are to polish everywhere. I will need to get DDs to vacuum today, but thankfully that's one job they enjoy. We've got a hand held vacuum for the stairs so they don't have to struggle with the big one there - especially as we have loads of stairs. Bthrooms need a clean too. Other than that, everything's pretty much done.

pompomr4wr.gif Good luck to master dlb today.

I'm off to bed. Enjoy the rest of your day. Byeeeeeeeeeeeee

    Moring All (just!!!)

whatatwit - sorry I couldn't help laughing. I remember when my mum died her hair. Only she claimed she hadn't. Only problem was, she's naturally almost black and she was now coppery:rotfl: It's daughter thing to laugh, so don't feel alone:p

I've only just got out of bed as I didn't get in it till 4am this morning. I was at a local pub on a ghost hunt. I wasn't expecting anything to happen but it really did. The spirit really didn't like me and really wanted me out of his bar. He eve went for me physically and I have it all on recordings. Very creepy, but a great night.

Breakfast will be cereal - remember to cut the book token off the top of friend's son's school
    Dinner will be roast lamb

Must remember to make a banana bread today as I forgot yesterday.

Right off to get up properly.

    Hope everyone's ok

Happy Birthday for yesterday SunnyDay, sorry I missed it.

Good luck for the match Master Dlb!!!

Mummysaver - I had a traumatic haircut when I was a teenager, following that I used to panic every time I went to a new hairdresser! I seem to have got over my fear, firstly my hair couldn't get much worse than it looks most days! and secondly i'm going to college tomorrow for my haircut!!

I'm feeling very flaky today, so i'm unlikely to do the jobs i'd lined up for today. I've already got the slow cooker on so tea is sorted, and it didn't take much doing as i'd prepped the veg yesterday as i was making tea. The bread i tried to make yesterday was in the oven too long or on too high as it came out VERY overdone and in fact black on the bottom. I hate to throw food out though so i keep eating it ( having chopped off the bottom) though i won't force it on anyone else. I do have a stubborn streak and i'm determined to get it right so i'll try again next week!

Think i'm going for a lie down whilst everyone else is out and its peaceful.

    G xx

Trust AussieLass to come up with a pic! Whatatwit - I have to confess to laughing (which is cruel, I know) but I am sure you do NOT look like Aussie's photo! (Shhh, but I think she is plundering her own family snaps to come up with the photos - she doesn't take very long to post them, does she?)

This all reminds me of when I had my one and only perm years ago. DH said I looked like a lavatory brush!

Anyway, I wasn't going to come back on here but something drew me in; I have made and iced some cakes, the dough from the BM is rising, everything is prepped for tonight's roast (I prefer Sunday dinner at lunch time but DH has gone to help a close friend with his guttering and, despite saying he'll only be an hour, will be gone some time because they won't stop yakking! You think I'm bad?) So, I shall have to cook later once DS1, DIL, DGS and DGD have been to visit.

Well, I have a couple of hours to myself so I think I shall knit.

    See you all later.
