Well, sleepover going ok so far - went to see Son of Rambow yesterday, wasnt my choice but we all really enjoyed it - then had a KFC and DS and i left them to it downstairs and watched Britains got Talent in my room, another very funny one!! Must say, girls are much quieter, cleaner and go to bed earlier than boys, all was quiet by 11.15, and nice and quiet this morning too. Ive just served up toast and drinks whilst they watch childrens telly.
Not much planned for today, one girl is going at 10, the other maybe after lunch, which will be HM leek and potato soup. Was going to do a roast, but forgot to take the chicken out the freezer, so we will have it tomorrow instead.
Hope everyone has a lovely day,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

Morning all, :hello:
You all put me to shame with your cleaning and cooking - hopefully it'll encourage me to be a bit more enthusiastic on that front.
Yesterday I cleaned the kitchen then spent the rest of the day catching up on the TV I had missed due to being on nights, things like Pushing Daisies (which I'm now addicted to), Britains Got Talent and The Apprentice. Lazy I know but I deserved it after my nights!
Working all day today (07.30 - 21.15) but half the day is overtime so worth it, however tired I feel at the mo.
I have all next week off too so looking forward to that.
Hopefully my talktalk connection will be up and running tomorrow so I should be able to post from home, woohoo!:T (Well, we'll see....)
Have a good day!0 -

Morning All
I feel very guilty here, sat looking at sunshine(only 10 degrees though) how come that even though we are at the same level north (near enough) as home it is showing raining and 7 degress at home
May not be red hot but the sun does make you feel better. Had a lazy day yesterday, tripping wise but got all our washing up to date in the site machines:rolleyes: . Last night was one of our friends birthday so we all (well 19 of us) went for a meal at the restaurant at the site, it was very very nice, I was good though, managed to avoid demolishing the bread first, didn't have a starter, but the creme brulee for dessert spoilt my earlier willpower I think???
((Jayward)) good luck with your week of hospital appointments next week, hope your pain eases soon, and they find something they can fix. Make the most of your new disabled bus pass:j . Watch your waistline on all the gorgeous bread you are making in your BM:rotfl: :rotfl: . (Mine's shot)
((Smoky and smokletts, P-Pin & fam))
Birthday wishes to all those I've missed.
Good luck with the cup final Master DLB.Member #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
Right, that's the inside of the windows cleaned (although nearly gave up when I realised that my 3 year old was going to follow me into every room and take a great interest in what I was doing).
I just have a little bit of ironing to do and the bath to clean (toilets alreay done).
If I have to answer one more question about "Fern Gully", which ds's nanny has lent him on video I may scream. I answered exactly the same questions yesterday - such is the way of the three year old. I was hoping for a peaceful Sunday too....
I hope all the poorly people are feeling better today. I had a good nights sleep, and although I have a couple more days steroids to take, my breathing is much better than it has been.
Take care all of you0
