it's just a link to show you the device.
If you are a makro card holder, you'll know that you can view makro mail items at their site HERE
but non card holders wouldn't be able to see what I was on about, but might have a friend who has who could get them one
The makro price IS £199+vat ( £235ish)
Thats for the one with UK + Ireland maps
UK + Europe version is £249 + vat0 -

From personnel experience having had one for about a week, Very impressed. Really easy and intuative to use, only three buttons and one of them is the on/off! I have put the speed camera database on it which works well from 'pocketgps'.
The only disadvantages that i can see are that i don't think the 2 AA batteries get charged by the cigar lighter lead and some people may find that they want a bigger screen, I find it fine and clear though.
If you need a europe street map its probably cheaper to get a different unit.0 -
Maplin says Preloaded 256 Mb TransFlash.
PC World says 128 Mb TransFlash required!
Can someone confirm what are you getting ?All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy.0 -

Just to say, I've had no problem with the unit I got from Makro with regard to the metalised windscreen on my 307, It works fine anywhere on the screen, but it is a 307SW with a very large glass roof so may be the signal is getting in there, although I would have thought that would be metalised too, for the same reason0

Has anyone tried the traffic report subscription? The way the marketing reads, it would seem that it detects traffic jams and navigates you around them; I've heard figures of £100 subscription fee for this.0

Is the PocketGPS download, and the Garmin POI download one and the same? Do I need to download both to enable the speed camera feature? Would one download clash with the other?0
