Can someone help me on the syn value of Swartz Creamy peppercorn sauce, its listed as 4.5 syns. Want to use it with tea tommorrow.

Do i have to add the syn value of the milk to make it up, because its extra to my healthy choice or does the syn value mean as made up.???

Still getting to grips with how to work things out, up to now not used any packet sauces.

    Hello :j

A friend at work lent me 3 SW recipe books today so I'm going to start having a bit of variation as I'm repeating things already.

    Green day today

    B'fast - 28g Optivita (b) with skimmed milk (a)

    Snack - grapes

Lunch - 3 ryvita multigrain (b) with 2 laughing cow extra light triangles and 1 light babybel (a), 2 x 0% fat yogurts, pear.

    Snack - banana

Dinner - Quorn spag bol, wholemeal spaghetti, low fat cheddar (a)

    Snack - 2 jaffa cakes (4 syns)

I know it looks like I've had 3 x (a) but I only had a tiny bit of skimmed milk with my optivita and 1 little splash in tea. I'm allowed either 6 triangles or 3 light babybels as another (a) so I didn't think a bit of cheese would hurt.

Not many syns today but had so many on Saturday and the full 15 on Sunday so I thought a couple of low syn days probably wouldn't hurt me. :o

    Ick....I don't like red days. :(

Going back to the comfort and safety of green tomorrow. :T

In the end I have managed to stick to it, with 12.5 syns. I ate 2 quorn sausages on my way to work (must have looked great driving along with a sausage sticking out of my mouth :D) and had tuna and tomatoes when I got back.

I don't feel hungry, but I do feel a bit sick!

Hiya, the mix is 4.5 syns for the 1oz of dried powder so you will have to add the milk syns if not using as a healthy extra A,
you could try making it with water then adding a splash of milk at the end for creaminess tho cant guarantee it would work, it does with pasta n sauce.

course you can you spudulicious woman!!!!!!!!!

Something is starting to happen I think. My work skirt is very long and has a half elasticated waist. I always pull it down onto my hips so it is ankle length. Got up and put it on this morning, pulled it down and it is skimming the floor!!! I've put the waistband on my waist and it is the perfect length!!

Let's hope that means a few millimetres have started to come off.

    Food for today

    fruit n fibre x 2 (hob)
    milk (hoa)
    banana x 3

    pasta n sauce
    3 babybel light (hoa)

    SW chips
bag of crisps - 6 syns
    muller layers - 1.5 syns

    cous cous with tomatoes
    fromage frais

    beetroot

    Morning guys!!

Keren that's fabby news!!! You must be really excited! I did that with a pair of trousers I've not been able to wear, I wouldn't go out in public in them, but they did up!!

I think I am going to need a little extra help today. My carpal tunnel is playing up and it really hurts!! I've taken pain-killers and anti-inflammatories, but i feel a comfort food day coming on!! Which is not good.

And I hate going to my Dr about it.... sorry little whingey today.
