OK - calling all DFW Slimming Worlders! Please give me some fab motivational talks asap - its all going wrong and I can't get to class tomorrow! Have just scoffed so much food for no good reason - and last week was not brilliant either. I ALWAYS do this - just when I start to feel good about how well I'm doing - I totally mess it up.:o

Rupe - just treat it as an isolated incident - and don't get in the mind-set of "well I've blown it now - I might as well just finish that chocolate cake/multi-pack of crisps et".

You're changing your eating habits for life - not just for a fad, which means you'll always have times when you're not perfect, but just remember how good it feels when you start getting compliments about the weight you've lost, or there's another digit dropped off the scales! If you have a blow out - just try and reign it back in elsewhere - either by eating extra well, or even just going for a walk or something!

You haven't totally messed it up - you've just had a wee blip, and one bad week - or even 2 - will not undo all of the good work you've done so far!!

So keep yer chin up - remind yourself of all the good work you've done - get dusted off and get cracking again!!

    NO EXCUSES!!! ;):D

    xx
  • As for me - I've lost a wee cheeky 2lbs this week! Not quite sure how I've managed it - last week wasn't exactly great! I can only guess it was because Aunt Flo was visiting last week - so I've maybe been storing some fluid!!

I've been good yesterday, and so far today - so fingers crossed I'll hold it up for the rest of the week! Although I have 2 b/day nights out at the weekend - so I'll need to be extra good!!

I'm now weighing in at 10 stone 2 lbs - which is an all-time low for me! :T (well not quite an all time low - I'm sure I weighed less when I was like 5 or whatever!! - But it's defo a low for the last few years!! ;) :rotfl: ) I'm determined I'm gonna break the 10 stone barrier - hopefully in the next week or 2!! - Fingers crossed!!

    xx
