oooooooooh, is it??? blimey, good job I said something - I thought it was .5 for the box!!!

it's arrived - it's frozen and has to be partially defrosted for 10 minutes which means defrosting it all as the slices are all stuck together!

yep - 6.5 for the box. Think I'll do half and add the syns to the list, but take them off if I don't like it!!!

Ok the bacon slices are 0.5 syns for the pack and the streaky bacon is 7 syns for the pack

hhhhhhhhmmmmmm, not bad - I'd never put it anywhere near being like bacon other than the smell being like smoky bacon crisps, but if you can imagine putting a small piece of sandwich ham in the frying pan for a minute and then it tasting like smoky bacon crisps - I'd say that's a pretty fair description!

They don't look particularly appealing - kind of like an inner sole of a shoe made from luncheon meat!

That's really good actually.

smells ok though. It's a bit like the ham, the texture isn't right.

actually, the texture is more polony/luncheon meat than sandwich ham.

Helloooooooo Everyone

I've been reading your thread for the last week and I wondered if I could join. I have spent my life on a diet and probably done every diet out there, but the one I really like was SW which I did 2 years ago and lost 3 1/2 stone and won "Women of the Year" in my SW group, but then my weight loss slowed down and I became lazy over a year and a half I messed around thinking I could make my own rules and it showed lossing 1/2 lb and then the next week gaining 1/2 lb.... so gave up.

Over this last year I and my OH have had a stressful time and used food and drink as a way of comfort and so gained weight, anyway here we are again determined that this time I will reach goal.

We can't really afford to go to a group so we have decided to do it home as I have all the books.. so please could I join your group... :j

My weighing day is going to be a Friday.

Weight last Friday - 15 stone.
