I've got 2 wardrobes, a large drawer and a drawer under the bed full of clothes that don't fit (whoops)..........i'd love to be able to work down 2 sizes by the end of the summer and then another 2 by Christmas.

  • i asked my hubby to get our summer clothes down from out of the loft last week so i could try mine on to see what would be ok to wear again this year and what was suitable only for the charity shop or bin and guess what? last year when i was sorting out all the summer clothes from all of us what was good enough to put away for this year and what was no good anymore, i took the bag containing all my summer clothes to the charity shop and kept the rubbish, so i have no clothes to slim into for summer and cant afford new ones, looks like i will be cutting down trousers and jeans that hopefully will be too big for me in the winter when i need to wear trousers and making them into shorts for this summer.
i cant beleive i was so stupid.

pity you aren't close to me northernlass - I've got clothes in every size you could have had a rummage through and picked a few bits out - I bet I don't even realise some of the stuff Ihave in there!

When I did SW last time, I was just about down to a 20. I went a bit mad at that point and bought loads of 18/20 sized clothing from ebay and charity shops - NEXT, M+S etc - very cheap and MSE friendly  ..........never worn any of it.....I then started to put it all back on again...... :o

It's hard sometimes but with Summer coming you get the second coming of 'lose weight pressure' after the New year resolution has gone out the window!

I had some blood tests done last week and my cholesteral level was only 3.1 so I eat fairly healthily, it's a volume issue with me.

I am a vegetarian so I eat a bit of quorn. I am going to get rid of white bread and cut down on pasta and rice.

Have been nibbling on rice cakes but they don't go with a cup of tea like a kit kat!

    Good luck everyone

ps Has anyone tried the wii fit?

if you feel this plan may be a bit daunting start by writing down EVERYTHING that goes into your mouth and read back over it every night it really does work and helps you control what you are eating. then you just have to work out what are good foods and what are bad and hey presto you are on to a new slimmer you:T

Oh and thankyou keren that is a really sweet offer and if we still holidayed in Dorset i would haev taken you up on it LOL:rotfl:

Afternoon! Didn't suffer too badly for my appallingly naughty night out :o - managed to get to work on time, and although I felt rather dizzy, I think I managed to make fairly sound lending decisions for most of the day....lol!

I have stuck to the diet like glue today, not a single syn. Rather worried about tea though because we have some pasta and sauce that HAS to be used up today - the pasta will be about 6 syns I think, but I can't find the sauce in the directory.

If anyone has an up to date directory, please could they have a look and see if Asda Good For You pepperonata sauce is in? (it was in the Asda section under 'pasta sauce' in mine, but they didnt have that particular one listed, or anything close).

Hope everyone is having a good day!

  • Hello snaggs, can't find it in mine at all.
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
