  • Can someone look at my food log for today, its my first day.Im doing original and I appear to have eaten a lot, have I gone wrong, if so where...

    Breakfast-2 poached eggs
    bacon with fat trimmed off
    2 wholemeal bread (Hb choice)
    1 teaspoon utterly buttly (1.5 syns)

    Lunch-green salad leaves, tomato, cucumber
    large spoon of virtually fat free cottage cheese
    tuna in brine
    toffee muller light
    banana
    tablespoon kraft fat free italian dressing (1 syn)

    Snacks- 3 strawberries, slice of pineapple, 2 slice ham

    Dinner- lean beef steak
    jacket potato (Healthy b choice)
    mushrooms
    half sachet pepper sauce (2.5 syns)
    made with milk left from (healthy choice A)

    other healthy A choice was 2 mini baby bels

    I have used other syns on 50g choc ice cream (5.5 syns)

    it seems such a lot, any ideas anyone??

    All looks good apart from the fat free italian dressing which is free not synned :)
  • Thanks Cleosmum, if that is correct Il be staying on this diet as Im stuffed, cant believe how much I have eaten.
    Can I clarify muller lights are free food?

    The normal mullers are free, inc banana custard, but the ones with cake pieces and the layers have syns. Layers are 1.5 syns each, not sure about the cake pieces.

    Its amazing how much you can eat and lose weight, make sure pack lots of fruit, veg and salad and you cant go wrong :)

    Hey well done for day 1 you have picked it up great. all is fine apart from you are robbimg yourself of a syn as the fat free dressing was free, keep this up you will be at target before you know it.

    Well I went to class.

    And I put ON everything I had lost!!! All 3 1/2 lbs!!! I nearly cried. But I had a good chat to my class and Robert (my consultant) and I feel much better. So I am aiming to try and get it all back off next week.

    Does that seem managable?
    Current debt - £16,300 :(

    I know, but I should just be pleased that I didn't hit the supermarket on the drive home. That would have been worse and probably expensive.

    Still there is always next week. Loads of free food and a few syns for good luck I think.

    Thanks northern lass, I cant believe how full up I was.I am a proper foodie and have starved on most diets.
    Im going to try a green day today and see how I get on.Its great having the support of this thread.
    Lucy you have always done so well, you were marvellous on your other weight losing thread.You will be fine, im not sure what you have been going through but it seems like you have lost a little of your confidence.Tell me to mind my own business!! You will lose that 3.5 lbs im willing you to.Go girl.
