It was split into 6 portions.

you will be better off having this on a green day because of the pasta, you can use the mince as HEB but you will have to syn the dolmio sauce and at 9syns per 320g jar, 14syns per 500g jar or 21syns per 750g jar and also your bisto it is not going to be cheap in syns.
how large was the jar can you remember???DFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -

Bran flakes are an 'a' choice healthy extra hun.
Just to point out that Bran Flakes are a Healthy Extra B not A.
Though I'm biased, I would always recommend that you join a group, get all the books, magazines etc that you need and learn the plan thoroughly before trying to go it alone.
It can seem quite complicated at first but with a proper grounding from a Consultant, you are much more likely to stick with it because you will lose weight from the beginning. It's very disheartening to feel that you've worked so hard and actually lose nothing (or worse still, gain) which is possible if you're doing it wrong.
The magazines are only £1.50 in group too, though they're £2.45 in shops. These are great for keeping you up-to-date with new low-syn foods, syn values and scrummy recipes.
It is important that you have your Healthy Extras every day, and do try to consume at least 2½ litres of water a day (more if the weather ever bucks up and gets warm). Sugar-free squash, weak tea and coffee can all be counted towards your total water intake, but no alcohol please
I believe it was pointed out to the breast-feeding Mum and pregnant ladies that you shouldn't increase your syns - generally speaking these are foods of no nutritional value. Instead, increase your Healthy Extras if you're towards the end of a pregnancy or BF.
You can have a look at the SW website here http://www.slimmingworld.com
where you'll find all sorts of interesting things, but for those of you posting the password - it is against copyright and can result in the forum being closed down, so please stop.
It's nice that you want to help and support each other, but the best way is for someone who is a group member, to look things up for other people if necessary. At the end of the day, part of the group fees paid by members, goes towards keeping the website running, dishing out the password to non-members is unfair to paying members.
Finally, as you know, there is already a SW forum on here and a Lose Weight thread too, many of whom have posted recipes - please go and have a look, there are loads of SW ones:-http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=1948340&postcount=3I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
many thanks consultant - I've got the main SW thread on my subscriptions for recipe ideas etc and to generally say hello!
I've made a cheese omelette from my remaining a choice cheese.
We don't normally eat until around 8.30 at night so it's a loooooooong way to go through the afternoon!
Have to say though, on green days, by the time dinner comes, I'm only eating a small portion as I've snacked on other free green things during the afternoon."Stay Wonky":D
