with EE, do you have to do that every day? Or could you just throw it into the mix and have one now and again?
Also, I've never done Mix to Match before (Is that even what it's called?). Where basically, you can have say a neutral brekkie, green lunch, and red dinner - is that how it works? And does it work?
I'm sure I've said before that I much prefer red days, but mainly for dinner time, I'm kinda thinking on the days that I go to the gym, I could maybe do with a few more carbs, so was thinking of having green lunches, and then red dinners - does that sound as though it would work?
xx
You dont have to do extra easy every day - you can just do it one or two days a week. Its just another tool like mix/max and O/G etc.
Ive never done mix/max either so cant help with that one sorry x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Thanks for the recipe northernlass - I am going to try that tomorrow. Can't trust myself to make it tonight and not eat it:rolleyes:
With Mix to Max (if I remember correctly), you snack on superfree foods. So you have your Healthy As & Bs, and your syns like normal - and you can red or green meals throughout the day BUT if you have a snack and its not a superfree food, you take the higher syn value of it. Likewise if you are having a meal (a red meal say) and you have baked beans with the meal. Unless you are counting them as a Healthy B (and have weighed them etc), they have a red syn value - they are not free food, because the meal you are having is red.
Does that make sense - or has it just complicated things more?Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Daily eating plan Good morning all, raining this morning which should get rid of most of the slushy snow still on the footpaths and roads. Miss the sun though:p!
I am going for my diabetic eye test today which involves them putting drops in my eyes and then going away for an hour before doing the rest of the test. This will all start at 11:30 so I suppose I shall have to take a packed lunch or something with me as I won't be able to drive home! I was going to have soup for lunch, I will still make it this morning and have a bowl when I get back.
OMG I lead such a boring life:o!
Breakfast - Last nights leftover pasta bake - free (there were a couple of syns in there but I counted them yesterday so they must be free today;))
Lunch - ham in a wm roll and an apple - with HM leek and potato soup later.
Dinner - Roast chicken, cauliflower, mange tout, mashed potato with berries and yogurt later on.
Thats it for now, have to go and wash my hair!
Love

Well done BB on getting your stone award.
I have just put the slow cooker on to do a soup before I go to work - fingers crossed it works as its the first time Ive used it!
Want to lose 1lb next week to get my 2.5 stone award so eating plan for today is -
B - Mullerlight and some fruit (free)
D - HM Coronation chicken (free) on WM bread (healthy b), yoghurt (free), fruit (free), diet pepsi (free)
T - Ham (free) and veg (free) soup, choc dessert (6 syns)
No healthy A's as I dont drink milk or eat much cheese but hopefully getting enough calcium from yogs.

Whoo hoo!!!! - Well done BB!! :T :j :A That's fab news!! You must be very proud! 1lb per week before you go on hols, is defo do-able!!
Well, for once I've managed to stick to the plan for 3 full days without any slip ups!I had a sneaky peek on the scales this morning, and I'm quite happy with what I saw - but I won't jinx myself by posting it, just in case it doesn't hold out 'til Monday!
I'm sure I'll be fine foodwise today, I'm just worried about the weekend as it's always my downfall! I'm going to the cinema tomorrow, and my boyf keeps threatening to buy me a ben and jerry's sundae! But the big questions is? Will I have the willpower to say no? - Most likely not!But then, I haven't had any more than 3 syns a day for the rest of the week, so maybe it wouldn't blow my hard work altogether! - Or maybe I'm just dillusional!
