Well, went away from work the other day - with my cold but feeling ready to start again. Had to have the day off yesterday because feeling rubbish but didn't comfort eat one bit - yay!! (Although I did get back into my habit of eating a bowl of Smash when I wanted something to pick at!!)
Feeling loads better today and been a good girl so far. Going to pick up the tip about overdosing on vitamins for a bit - I always mean to do things like that but then forget. I am going to have to make looking after myself a priority now - I hope all of you are able to do the same.

    cheers for the encouragement gang!

I still have a huge mountain to climb - I want to eventually (when I can afford one!) get a wii and a wii fit as Ihate exercise but think using the game could be fun. However, until weigh in today I was (ahem) too heavy for the wii fit board:o :o:o . But I am now exactly the maximum weight for it, so I'm hoping to get one perhaps in the summer if I can keep going and get some more off and the price of them drops!

  • Good news BB - that's a milestone in itself!!

Well done pops - starting out on the plan when you're not feeling too hot isn't the easiest - so congrats for having the willpower to stick to it!! :T If you can manage that - the rest'll be a doddle! ;)

Well WI yesterday and lost 1/2lb so gave myself a strict talking to. Looking back over my book since April last year I have actually lost 48lbs in total .. shame I have actually PUT ON 20lbs in that time as well

I am already aware that I need to be super strict as I am not normally someone who can get away with being naughty, and my biggest weakness is my struggle with turning down food that people have made or bought for me .. as since I have been on a really tight budget all gifts have been so thankfully received :o

However, now I am going to try to make a note of my daily munchings on here as well as my notebook .. as maybe confessing everything on here will help me be stronger!

    So for today ..

    (B) Crunchy Bran (HEB) Banana (Free) Milk (HEA)
    (L) Jacket Spud (Free) Herby Quark (Free) 1tbsp Parmesan (1.5) Spaghetti (Free)
    (D) HM Chicken Chow Mein (Free) Meringue Nest (2.5) Pinapple (Free) 0% Greek Yoghurt
    (S) Orange (Free) Options Hot Chocolate (2)

Hey everyone - am on here to avoid the Hot cross buns that my darling OH brought today and has 'hidden' in the cupboard. If there is one thing designed to break the willpower its the smell of hot cross buns mmmm

ANYWAY - its not been a great week SW wise - fish and chips during a power cut, and then my eldest made carrot cake last night - which I sampled...3 times:rotfl:

My family are all skinny - all the kids take after OH - and while I'm really glad for them, it doesn't make them overly understanding to my predicament (and of course they 'love me as I am').;)
Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Ossireo - don't be so hard on yourself, a loss is a loss, and always better than a gain!! So well done! :T Look at the positives, 48lbs is a HUGE amount of weight, and even if some of that has crept back on, you've already proved that you have the motivation and the know how to shift it again!! So don't beat yourself up!!

Your diet plan looks good - I haven't had brekkie yet, so it's making me hungry! ;)

I couldnt have said that better myself, my SW book reads about the same as yours and i know how frustrating it is, i would be nearly at target now if i hadnt let some creep back on but i know how to do it and i know i can do it so thats more than half the battle fought and won, i now have to conquer the last part and i know i will do it and im not bothered if i keep taking the scenic route as i know in my heart of hearts i will get there one day.
Keep your chin up chuck and you will do just fine...

Thank you CWM & Northernlass what you both said was very inspiring for me, I am certainly my own torturer when it comes to being upset with myself, as my mum and OH keep telling me .. I am still 2 stone lighter then I was this time last year and that is after 7 years of being static at 16st 6lbs  I think I am going to set myself the target of averaging 1lb a week and getting to my target by Christmas 2009 and if I go the scenic route I will try to enjoy the view rather then panic about the destination!!.

Anyway, todays plan, clearing up some left overs from OHs visit. Not a massive fan of the sausage as its so oily so I grill it to death (hoping my Scottish OH isn't going to read this as its mainly his treat after weigh in, slice of sausage, bacon, runny dry fried egg in a HEB wholemeal roll!, jammy !!!!!! has lost 1st in 4 weeks, I can see him becoming the group mascot ... although that depends on how the rugby goes!!)

    (B) Lorne Sausage (6) Bacon (Free) Eggs (Free) Beans (Free)
    (L) Jacket Spud (Free) Asda RF Egg Mayo (Free) Beansprouts (Free)
    (D) HM Spagetti Carbonara (Free) 2 tbsp Parmesan (3) Mullerlight (Free) Pudding Rice (Free)
    (S) 4 Original Ryvita (HEB) Banana (Free) Orange (Free) Grapes (Free) Options Hot Chocolate (2) Milk (HEA)

today...........erm.........I am 'fully embracing' the EE plan

    so far I have had

    1 muller
pasta n sauce (1 HE) with mozzarrella (the other HE) and about 2 ounces of chicken in it
small cereal bowl of lefotver chilli and rice
small cereal bowl of leftover cottage pie

    3 digestive biscuits.

Dinner is going to be pasta, chicken, fresh tomato and basil sauce.

Technically I'm within the rules of the plan but I'm bitterly cold and feel the need to eat, so have done :o
