it's weird though, I've basically forgotten all about bread this time - and i'm a complete breadaholic! In the last 5 weeks, I've had a couple of pittas and that's it - I don't even think about it and I've got a huge ciabatta in the freezer as well!
That's excellent for me, I can demolish quite a lot of a loaf (the whole lot - cough) in a day if I'm left alone with one!"Stay Wonky":D

Pasta Carbonara - Serves 4 - [Free on Extra Easy] [5.5 Syns on Green -if Ham not HEB]
14oz/397g Dried Pasta
2 Garlic Cloves
12oz/340g Lean Ham
2 Eggs
2 Egg Yolks
2oz/57g Quark
Salt & Pepper
Fry Light
1) Cook the pasta as per packet instructions
2) Peel & Crush the Garlic and finely dice the Ham.
3) Mix the Eggs and Egg Yolks together and whisk in the Quark until the mixture is smooth. Season well and set aside.
4) Spray a pan with Fry Light and on a medium heat cook the Garlic and Ham for a couple of minutes.
5) Drain the cooked pasta and return it into the pan. Add the Ham & Garlic mixture and mix well (I have a cast iron pan which retains heat so I kept it off heat at this stage, but keeping it on a low heat will work just as well) Finally add the Egg mixture and quickly stir through until all the pasta is coated.
6) Serve with some HEA or Syn'd Cheese ( I used 2 tbsp of Parmesan for 3 Syns)
Note: Pregnant women, the elderly and babies should not eat partially cooked eggs!0 -

Thanks Louise, I didn't get to class last week due to the snow so I am counting it as a STS . Next week doesn't look too promising either as I seem determined to eat myself out of house and home at the moment!
