thanks everyone for all your support, it really does help..

retired lady, i just noticed your losses to date on the bottom of your signature, wow, you are doing so well and an inspiration to all us others..

its strange but i really try hard knowing that i want to come on here and post a loss..

just out of interest, does anyone have any ideas for "naughty" type snacks that are not too bad..

so far ive had fruit, some fat free jelly stuff, jaffa cakes (anyone know syns of these)..

    anyone got any secrets..

Thank you very much, I find it helpful posting my loss or gains:o on line as well! Naughty snacks - well at the moment it is my breakfast rice which I have been known to have several times as day:p, I am a big fan of 0% total yogurt which I love on top of a large meringue (3 syns) with a handful or two of fresh berries on top and then a muller light yogurt on top of all that! Huge bowl of creamy sweetness (but not too sweet) for only the syns in the meringue!:T

I also have a recipe to try out for a syn free pancake, I will try it out tomorrow and if it works will let everyone know about it:cool:;)

Not too disappointed considering the DH is back and we have been eating well (read naughty) ;)

We have also bought a Wii fit so that will help keep me in check I hope.

Will post my daily menus on here once he has gone next week.

    Good luck everyone :j

  • Well there we go i fell off the wagon again yesterday:mad: why do i start the day with such good intentions then fall at the first hurdle, i did great with my eating on sunday, then yesterday i started off not having breakfast, simply because i wasnt hungry, but by lunchtime i was starving so gave in to fish from the fish shop i now work in, i then felt really guilty all afternoon so didnt eat anything else all day. went top bed hungry and this morning im ravenous, at least i made some of retiredlady's oats so i shall have them.
    there we go rant over.

Good Morning everyone! I am very bleary eyed this morning, I woke up at 2:30 in the morning and could not get back to sleep. My tossing and turning was starting to seriously annoy my grouch of a husband DH so I decided to get up and make a cup of tea. Went back to bed at 5:30 and just got up a few minutes ago:o Still feel tired though and I also ate 2 brownies that were hidden in the freezer for emergency snacks:o:mad:.

Do you ever have nights like that? It might have been because of a parcel I received from Canada on the weekend. I knew my sister was sending me a few of my Mom's things but there was also a pewter heart which had some of her ashes in!

Really wasn't expecting that and although I could see the funny side eventually I guess it must have disturbed me more that I thought. Mom died early last year but since the funeral was in Canada I couldn't get to it at the time. I guess this brings home the fact that she really is gone! Apparently there are 7 of these memorial hearts so each of us kids have one! Wonder which bit I got:rotfl::rotfl:(sorry if anybody gets offended by that but sometimes you have to laugh don't you)

    Love

I am having a bit of a left over day today as I sorted out the freezer last night and found a few bits to use up.:D

Breakfast - oats so simple with frozen blueberries and milk (heb.free, hea)

Lunch - SW recipe beef burger in a roll with 300g rustic oven chips ( I have some stewing steak defrosting that I am going to try putting in my blender/chopper thingie and see if I can make my own mince. We don't really like stew and if I make my own mince I know what is in it;)) (free + 6 syns for the roll & 3 syns for the chips)

Dinner - Quorn sausage casserole with mashed potato and sweetheart cabbage. Might have fruit and yogurt to follow. (all free)

    See you later

  • morning all.....I have serious doubts as to whether I will lose this week, my body feels a bit.......dunno...just feels different to the last 3 weeks with the excellent losses..........ok, probably all in myhead, but I still feel this week will be a maintain!

    Food for today

b: muller layer (2 syns), various fresh fruits snacked on
l: leftover pasta bolognaise from last night
d: beef and sweet potato, courgette, tomato and onion spicy casserole.

Will use my hea on mozzarella on my lunch and heb will probably be prunes in juice with another yoghurt later.

ta Lou, I feel a bit erm..................bunged up..........need to drink more water........

it's a load of stuff just chucked in really, as I have to go back out to teach.

    It's

    beef
    onion
    courgette
    carrot
    tomatoes
    garlic
    chillies
    oregano
    sweet potato

Tell you what...........the mince I used in the bolognaise last night and I've just had leftovers of just now is very oily.........it'sthe Asda really lean one I always buy and it's swimming in grease. I noticed it last night when I served myself a bowl......hope they haven't upped the fat content in it.
