Another 2lbs lost for me, so 5lbs overall. It's sloooooow progress but better than the alternative!

Well done Snaggles! 2lbs off is no mean feat!! How long have you been on the plan for? I lost 5lbs as well (this time round at least!!) But it's taken me 3 weeks to get that - and I'm doubtful that I'll lose this week!! But we'll see....

hi everyone - have been lurking a while and reading with interest - but can I belatedly join please? Have lost 4 stone following SW plan over the last 3 years - had a bit of a break and am now back to class for a bit of a boost. First week - and I've torn a ligamant in my ankle - so instead of exercising like usual AND sorting out my eating - I am lying on the sofa! Hmm - first week back and a weight gain methinks!

Trying to be positive and am sticking to the eating plan...

Hello rupe and welcome to the group! Sorry to hear about your ankle - what a pain:rotfl::o! I wouldn't worry about it too much, I go to slimmin world and lots of us do very little if any exercise at all and we manage to lose!:j In fact our consultant has said that it is not necesary to exercise although obviously it would speed things along if you could. Look at the bright side - if you are stuck on the sofa you can't get into the kitchen for a munchie attack;)

Look forward to seeing how you get on, and once again a nice big welcome!

  • Welcome Rupe, sorry to hear about your accident but as marion has said not doing excersise wont affect your weightloss too much as long as you eat correctly.
which plan are you following, marion and i are doing EE and are doing fine, while others are still doing R&G days and are doing fine too.
Once again welcome to our merry little thread.

Daily eating plan Good morning everyone, rather pleased to announce I had a :grouphug:in bed last night:rotfl:. I got up to use the loo and was half asleep (thats my excuse and I am sticking to it!), and when I went back to bed and laid down I felt warm breath on the back of my neck. Sounds good so far right? Mmm thinks I, turning around for a cuddle and came face to face with Charlie who was in the middle of the bed with his head on my pillow! Didn't have the heart to kick him out so we settled down and when I woke up this morning he was still there but my DH had his arm around him!:D

Anyway here is my eating plan for today -

Breakfast - eggs, bacon and hash browns, baked beans (free, free, 3syns, free)

Lunch - Homemade veg soup with crusty roll - (free, heb)

Dinner - braised pork steaks in a spicy chilli sauce with gnocchi (3 syns)

Snacks - fruit and yougurt with milk in coffee being HEA

    Have a good one
    Love
    Marion
ps - for those who don't know me Charlie is the little chap in my avator!

    great story Retiredlady:rotfl:

today I am going for a reunion with someone I used to be good friends with when I was about 18-23. We haven't seen each other for 18 years so a lot of jaw exercising will be done. She is making me lunch so no control really on what I eat but have had a Free brekkie (mullerlight and banana) and will try to be good at hers.

Retiredlady your weight loss is amazing  mine is stuck on 3lbs but this will change.
