Hanging head in shame this morning as I fell off the wagon big style last night and out of sheer boredom ate a mars bar:o
I am working tonight and tomorrow night so should do better, evenings are my Worst time for getting the munchies:mad:
Off to make my lunch to take to work, prawn and salad sarnies on nimble and lots of fruit.
Evenings is such a bad time for nibbling. Hopefully when the days get longer we can escape outside or something to keep us from getting so bored and giving in to our chocolate urges. I ate half a large galaxy bar last night:mad: and the other half is singing to me now - it knows I will have it tonight:D:DWhen life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -

Well done retiredlady - I've yet to master the art of leaving half a chocolate bar for later!Once I start - I just can't stop!
My eating's been a bit erratic the last couple of days - I've had really bad stomach pains, so haven't felt much like eating! What I have eaten has all been on plan, but there just hasn't been much of it! Hopefully it won't sabotage me too much for monday's WI!!

Hi All :hello:
I've just realised I havn't posted since last week!
Well done to all the losers & STS!:T :T
I was full of good intentions after last weeks WI, but managed to stuff it all up again by mid-morning Thursday  . Luckily I felt quite poorly over the weekend so behaved myself reasonably, but since my tum has been better I've been stuffing on norty foods again, white bread & butter and nibbling on sweet things. Generally I'm sticking to the day I plan, but at the back of my mind is my OH telling me he loves me just the way I am and only to lose weight if it makes me happy.
Am I allowed to say that I'm ok with how I am?
I'm just over halfway to target, I havn't been this weight since I was about 18, and I'm having to think about going down another size in clothes which I just CANNOT afford (I think I'm trying to justify giving up).
On the one hand I know how fab I will feel when I hit target, but on the other I LIKE bread & butter!:D
Sorry for the long rambling post.LBM:FEB 2008

It's great that you're happy as you are, and you should shout about that as often as possible IMO!!I'd love to say I felt so positively about my body, but frankly - I'd be lying!
- and it's really impressive that you've got down to the weight you are as well!
Only you can decide whether it's right for you to stay on the plan or to give up - suppose you should write down a list of the pro's and cons and maybe go with the longer list? Your hubby's right though, you can and should only do it, if it's something you think will make you happier/healthier within yourself!
Good luck with the decision - the best thing is that whatever you decide - it's not set in stone, you can only do whatever you feel is best for you at this particular point in time! But what's right just now, can easily change in 6 months or 2 years - or whenever!

Of course you are allowed to say that you are happy with how you are!:T:T:T :T Good for you too for feeling like that. Just one word or warning - keep eating all that white bread and butter and you will not be able to maintain where you are now.
On the other hand I would personally kill someone right now for a piece of soft white bread spread thickly with real butter -:D

Thank you, maybe nagging is what I need.
I don't have bread & butter all the time. Not even every meal. I had a 1/4 slice yesterday and the same this morning. Both at breakfast. I'm so German in my appetite. Bread is a BIG part of the diet, rolls & pretzels for breakfast for example, bread, sausages, cold meats & cheeses for the evening meal.
I've struggled with the bread issue ever since I started on the plan. I make my own (supermarket bread makes me feel ill, chewing gum bread!), so it's even harder to syn properly. I wish they did it by weight not by slice!
Maybe I'm subconsciously testing to see if I'll be able to maintain once I move home?LBM:FEB 2008

Sorry - I thought you were eating it all the time:o If you are only eating it a little bit I wouldn't worry about it. Have it, enjoy it pretend it didn't happen then carry on with your eating plan. Bet it doesn't make any difference at all!:T

You are so positive I love reading your posts. I DID GAIN 1LB this week, which wasn't unexpected. I'm going to spend this week pottering through the pllans and see if I can come up with an eating regime that I am going to be happy with when I go home. I NEED to find a way of incorporating the bread. I LOVE it and I won't be able to avoid it when we move home.
At first glance EE is going to be the best bet, if I syn my bread! I can live without butter (maybe once a week/fortnight treat?)LBM:FEB 2008
