  • Hi

could I please be added to the speadsheet I've got 159 lbs to loose eeek sounds like I'll be there sometime in the next century!!!

But I got given a bit of hope this morning there was a girl on there I think she must have been a celeb as she was very glam and she had lost 5 stone and she's bought out a fat attck fitness dvd which looks great think I might go for it .

I've had an absolutely awful day today, nothing has gone to plan... my wash machine decided to go wrong so being trying to sort that out which took me most of this morning, It was 1pm when I had chance to cook my potato bake as I didn't have anything green. But before I even got to that stage I was so stressed out and hungry I eat 2 choccie biscuit left over from xmas , then another 2 then a mince pie OMG diet disaster!!!!

I wacked my curry in slow cooker at about 1 which I know is probably far too late for it too be ready as spuds are still hard so will be have a midnight snack on veggie curry by all accounts.

I so wanted this to be a green day, but I think I've got to get more prepared in advance coz if I had have been I'm sure I wouldn't have blasfeemed!!!

Anyway, my potato bake was nice its more like lyonais potatoes quite boring ut very filling probably be really good with a nice big fat juicy steak on the easy peasy plan.

Thanks a lot with coming back to me on the olives I will keep to max of 7 in future..LOL!!

Thanks for your kind words everyone, it means alot xx

I have stuck to the plan today so I am feeling a little better about myself.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • Just eaten my veggie curry and wow was it nice yum yum!!!! only thing is I think I've made enough to feed a family of 20!!! could freeze some I suppose

adjust the measurments to suit the size you need but thsi filled my 6lt slow cooker

    recipie

    VEGGIE CURRY

    3 peeled white potatoes cubed
    1/2 brocolli floret
    2 large onions
    300g red split lentils
    1 courgette chopped in chunks
    4 garlic cloves
1 tin chopped tomatoes with juice
    about 8 mushrooms chunky slices
    salt & pepper to taste
    desert spoon medium curry powder
    2 tsp ground coriander
    1 tsp ground nutmeg
    2 tsp turmeric
vecon veggie stock or vegetable stock cube (I think thats 1 syn) about 1/2 pint

I didn't do alot but just put it all on slow cooker it took about 7 hours on high heat to cook, but would be a lot quicker on hob/oven

The sauce has come out really thick not like yesterdays rogan josh dish I did I had it with brown rice, pickled cucumber and a sprinkle of low fat grated mature cheddar

hope you've all had a good day

  • Well done for the losses everyone.

I know I shouldn't check but the scales don't seem to be shifting at all this week yet but will see on Sunday when I do my official weigh in. I don't think I have been too bad but could be better and will be better after I have been food shopping on Saturday.

On a positive I went in to M & S today to get a lemon posset cheesecake thingymejig (yum) to celebrate me getting a start date for a new job and they didn't have any left so I walked out with nothing. I also went back to rugby training last night and will will willl will go for a jog tomorrow.

Welcome:beer::j:j:j I am sure you will find plenty of support on here. How exciting for you getting married in only 8 month:j! You can easily lose the weight you want by then. Can sympathise with the red wine and bread thing too! In the end I just cut them both out of my life completely. I thought the bread this would be really hard but it was surprising easy to live without! Good luck

    icon7.gifDaily eating plan

Good morning everyone, what happened to the sun, freezing fog here now:mad:? You really need loads of warming foods to eat when the weather is like this (at least I do:o)

OK - here is my plan for today:

Breakfast - egg and bacon plus yogurt and berries plus a banana (free)

    milk in coffees (hea)

Lunch - left oven SW chicken curry from the freezer along with the remains of last nights rice (free)

Snack - coffee and a couple of alpen lights (choc&toffee) cut into small pieces and I shall pretend I am eating chocs:p (heb)

Dinner - sausages with mashed potatoes and peas plus a yorkshire pudding! (4 syns)

Evening - jelly with sliced bananas and yogurt (1 syn)

That should see me through the day:p:rotfl:

    Love
