STOP with the olives!!!!!!!!!
I can only find them in the syn section, NOT in free foods.
7 olives = 1 syn
28g in brine without stones = 1.5 syns
hope this helps.LBM:FEB 2008

And well done on the WI's Rugbymum and Penguin. Rugbymum, maybe that was just the incentive you need to get back on track!! Just goes to show that although you weren't following the plan exactly, you were probably still making a lot more healthy choices than if you weren't thinking about it at all, so you've managed to balance out the "sabotages" as you put it!
Thank you.
I do find myself automatically reaching for "healthy" snacks, and the cooking methods i use are all on plan. Still found myself sticking to the right day, so even the forbidden stuff was colour appropiate!
I guess the plan starts to become a subconsious way of life after a while!LBM:FEB 2008

Can someone help me with the new extra easy plan - are you able to mix this with normal red/green, mix to max & success express days as you currently can or do you have to do this plan for the week - I only ask as I read the book & it said this was designed for new people to follow & then the consultant would conf when it was best to swap to green/red days etc. I dont want to follow the new plan & find I slow my weight loss cos as you can see I have put on alot in the last 3 wks??
It looks as though you can mix up the plans as much as you want!
As long as you stick to your choice for the whole day I think! The feedback for the EE plan is positive from everyone, online & two different groups.
Our consultant said to have a go at the new plan, but stick to what you're comfortable with if that helps.LBM:FEB 2008

I am really struggling at the minute:o
What you struggling with Lou? Is it the healthy eating - or were you just meaning keeping track of everyone? I don't mind taking over if you haven't time? - Although I'm a bit disabled when it comes to computers, so you'd need to give me a wee lesson on how to attach the spread sheet etc!
I meant to ask - how did you get on with the slinky black trousers for new years?
xx0 -
LouiseJ- thanks for doing the spread sheet . for the update Mickey Mouse put a lb on
Rugby Mum thanks for your supportive words and you are right my consultant was saying some people had put on as much as 11lbs over xmas and New Year.

We are having a bit of a hard time at the minute with my MIL who we think may be deleloping dementia:( so alot of time is being spend to-ing and fro-ing which is resulting in quick and easy meals (quite often takeaways). But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

So sorry to hear that - My gran had dementia, and it's in the days where it's only just developing that it's hardest, especially since that's when they're most aware themselves that things aren't quite right - so I really do sympathise with you! Just make sure you take time out to look after yourself as well - there's no point you making yourself ill in the process!
Even if it just means you taking an afternoon or a night off to do some batch cooking that'll see you through the rest of the week! Or stock up on some pasta and sauces or whatever - something that can be cooked in the time it'd take you to get to the takeaway.
If you're too busy with it all to manage even that much just now though, don't beat yourself up over it, it's not the end of the world. You're already a safe healthy weight, and all of the upheaval with your MIL will eventually reach a manageable level and you'll be able to get back to some sense of normality once you've got your head's round what's happening.
Good luck with it anyway - and keep your chin up!

Daily eating plan Good afternoon everyone. I am late putting my plan up today because I had to go to the shops and get my veg for the week and couldn't plan my menu till then:D
Today is my normal SW easy peasy plan;)
Breakfast/Lunch - leftover ham, left over jacket potatoes, chopped onion and eggs all griddled together to make a sort of spanish omelette plus an apple first thing (all free) using 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (1 heb) Milk in coffee will be (hea)
Dinner - Chicken breasts marinated in a spicy tomato sauce and then into the remoska with rice and vegetables followed the aldi muisli optifit yogurt with fresh blueberries ( all free) - made the sauce with passata, chilli flakes and a bit of sweetener.
Evening snack - have to plan for this cause I have been eating stuff the last two evenings that I should not be having and if I am not careful I will not lose this week. So I am making a large sugarfree jelly with some chopped up fruit in it and some carrot and celery sticks and will munch on that lot if and when the urge takes me:p:o
It is a lovely day today with the sun shining brightly, makes such a difference to my mood.
Love

Hi all,
I jump on and off this thread as much as I jump on and off the scales!!! Oh... and as much as my weight goes up and down...
Well - I joined WW 2 weeks ago - and I haven't counted a thing yet!! But, I think my biggest concern with SW has just gone away with the EE plan so I'm sacking WW and coming back to SW. :j
I've been a SW member before but due to (now I could say hectic lifestlye) the fact I'm crap at planning - I'd get home on an evening and struggle to find something to eat...
However this does look like I could 'plan' and get it right!! It will also help me to avoid eating all the chocolate / crisps etc.. that find there way into my mouth because on WW 'I can count them' - Now on SW I know I can count them but there's a lot more syns in them than points.
Right - time to make a start LouiseJ can you please add me to your Spreadsheet. I'd like to lose 42lb
I will be starting afresh tomorrow - I've had too many M&S Cookies today....
Thanks all - I'll get my thinking cap on re tomorrow's menu and get it posted...
Oh and my reason for losing weight ....
One of my reasons for losing weight is
An operation,
Feeling more confident
So I can ride (horses) again
So I can wear clothes that are modern and fun, not frumpy and cover everything up
So I can sit comfortably on the ickle chairs in class
So I can get down to a healthy BMI (boring!)
So I feel confident when I take my clothes off (sorry, bit rude, but it's true)
So I can fit into my clothes without the addition of extreme muffin top
So I can play ring a ring a roses with my 2 toddlers without needing an inhaler
so although I can run round a tennis court for a few hours no probs I want to do it faster and without carrying so much weight on my joints
To squeeze into my bridesmaid dress, without looking like a heffalump next to the minute bride-to-be and her even smaller sister
So I can go swimming without hearing the words Moby !!!!!!
So I can look fantastic in a Bikini and prepare my body into a healthy state before I start a family...
we can also start a list for reasons NOT to lose weight and mine would have to be,
Cant afford new clothes
Easy to stay where I am!!
Too lazy to cook 'proper' food
people think I'm bubbly and happy, so what's the problem?
i lurve chocolate and all things bad for me
My DH loves my cuddly bits (two cuddly bits in particular!)
I've got a man who loves how I look anyway
I want to keep what little I have in my bra:rolleyes:
I get stretch marks when I lose weight, i have enough already thank you!!
what is another choc bar going to hurt
I don't have the patience - when I start dieting, I get frustrated that the weight isn't all gone in a week - especially when I've been soooo good?!
Disgusting wrinkly skin on tummy sit-ups will never shift0
